    Thinking about a 9n.

    My first tractor was a 1951 Ford 8n that I bought from the widow of the original owner, with 1200 hours on it, around 1990. It served me ok and I put almost that same number of hours on it over the last 35 years. There were a few jobs, that I liked it better for, than any of my newer tractors...

    9n Rebuild

    After cleaning them up, should 9N head bolts be installed dry, oiled, or anti siezed? Proper torque? Thanks, Knots

    Ford 9n carburetor

    Can anyone please explain to me why the long brass tube “emulsion”? In the center of a Ford 9N carburetor is sized 10 mm? Does it mean that it was replaced at some point with an offshore tube? Thanks, Knots

    Rough running 9n

    I was wondering if anyone has ever had a rough running / backfiring issue when they had a loose pole on the starter ? It’s a 12 volt system and everything else seems to be ok but the stud on the starter is loose and will not tighten up properly. Any help would be appreciated thanks!
