Not using all my horses by design??

Just make sure you don't have to replace all your implements with more suitable sized implements, unless you want to. My M4-071 burns about 2.5 gallons/hr pulling a 12' cutter.

Help identifying couplers for skid steer and kubota tractor

I take the connector off my tractor and a connector off the attachment and take them to a hydraulic hose shop. I tell them I need this to fit to this. They always fix me up in a couple of minutes.

Deck Over vs Equipment Trailer w/ Fenders

I usually buy fertilizer and other products by the pallet and a deck over trailer makes loading from the side a snap. If you ever trailer a wide implement, the deck over gives you more room.

Welder / Wiring for Small Garage

What are the input requirements stated in the manual? I used a 30 amp circuit for my Hobart 180 and it worked fine. For wire size, you need to look at both the amperage requirement plus the distance.

Towing 10.1K with either Toyota Tundra SR5 OR F150 which is better?

If you are going to tow 10,000# more than a couple of times a year, you need a 3/4 or 1 ton truck, IMO. I don't care what the website advertising says, towing 10k with a 1/2k truck isn't going to be pleasant.

    Starting Excavating Company, Insurance/Bank Recommendations

If you haven't already done so, spend an hour with your CPA about what you want to do and he will tell you what you need to do. It will cost about $150 to $300 and be worth every penny. There are so many regulators out there that are just hoping you screw up so they can screw you up. At...

How much damage am I likely to have done to my new tractor?

I didn't read all the replies, but if not mentioned before, something should 'give' before the shock stops your engine. You either need to adjust the slip clutch if it is in your driveline or go with a lighter shear pin. The idea is the damage should be non existent or at most the cost of a...

Anybody use a mobile cellular booster?

I'm using Cell Fi Go to boost my Visible (Verizon) signal in an area where 2 bars is the average. The Cell Fi boosts the signal to 4 bars, the maximum on my phone. Without the boost, we can talk just fine, but data is terribly slow and video is practically impossible. With the boost we can...

    BX 2200

I have a bx2200 with 60" mmm and loader with 950 hrs that I have taken good care of. I figure it's worth about $6000 to $6500. At this point, they have just about stopped depreciating. I'd say if everything works as it should $4000 would be about right.

Price of rear remotes and TnT for Kubota B-series

I bought a long top link hydraulic cylinder from Tractor Supply for about $200 plus the 1/2" hose kit. The hoses didn't fit my B2650 so I took them back. I measured the length I needed needed and took the cylinder/fittings to a local hydraulic shop and they made hoses while I waited. I think...

Adding Boards to Utility Trailer with E-Track

I put e track on the walls of my cargo trailer. I have a couple of sets of the holders that you can run a 2x4 rail horizonally across the width of the trailer. I think this is the accessory you want to use as a vertical rail with 2x4s? If so, you will be very limited because the strength of...

bx2200 mower deck - left blade not loose & not cutting

What TGD said. Those washers lose their 'spring' over time and need to be replaced. They aren't very expensive. If your belt isn't holding the spindle tight enough and the shaft spins when you tighten the nut, put a wrench on the top nut too.

    Flail mower vs Bush Hog

I've had both and I sold my flail. It was slow to cut and a pain to sharpen. The only thing I liked over a brush cutter was the ease to transport on a trailer due to its smaller size. If you want it to look neat, get a finish mower and cut it more regularly.

Is a 6' box blade too much for a compact?

I worked on reclaiming an old gravel driveway with a heavy 6' box blade behind my Kubota 2650 last week. I got the job done, but it was really too much for the weight and HP of the B. I also pull a 7' rake behind the same tractor and it does a remarkable job. When I have the rake canted to a...

Buying Advice  need advice on 3030 or 3400
