Owning a small tractor is a blessing.

nah, just get yourself a 4 x 4 by 8 and cut it to fit under your loader as a prop and you are good to go. I've used my loader this way with a board backing up the hydraulics. Nice looking property BTW.

    TYM vs Yanmar

I drove past some TYM today and stopped and looked at them, first mistake. I called the name of the dealer salesman on the sign, second mistake. 😆 He told me that I can get 1% interest on a 60-month loan. I know that I could pay cash and get it cheaper, but that is fairly cheap money. I have to...

Homemade log splitter. Anybody made one?

My dad built this one when I was a kid and we used it for 42 years. He sold it a few years ago when he stopped burning firewood. I didn't know he was selling or I would have bought it just because.. I have a lot of hours working that splitter. Wisconsin engine.

It is a pin but it's made not to require tools. It's about like pulling two Hitch pins with a cotter key. I can do it in under two minutes. Probably under a minute if I tried. They are made to hook to the implement using brackets on the back of implement that line up the holes so no concern...

Buying Advice Questions about potential purchase, not sure where to start

From someone who owns a tractor with a pinned bucket. I can unpin and drop my forks or bucket in two minutes on my Yanmar. I also don't have the extra weight of SSQA eating up lift capacity and extending the load out further from pins. Sooooo, I choose pin on over SSQA all day long. If I...

Transferable only once. I agree with looking at Yanmar. You can also find them used. Look for these models: SA324, SA425, SA325 or SA425. Difference between the SA3s' & 4s' is tire size only. Larger tires on the 4 series. The difference between the 424 & 425 is a accessory outlet and dual rear...
