    I bought a Fire Truck

I refurbished an alarm box from my home town. Looks brandy new, at one point outfitted it as a garage door opener when you pulled lever. Now, it is on the wall next to wood stove. Have a couple of hose nozzles that were used as candlestick holders by my parents.

I just noticed, I think, that the jacket has a hood. That would be a great addition. My current jacket has just a tall collar, and with long arms, long legs, and long neck, it's not tall enough to be effective.

    Need a yard truck?

That's why we got a enclosed cab with wipers. No sense going from cold sucky shovel, to cold sucky snowblower to cold sucky utv. Could never justify a utv until my wife said she wanted an option for her, in case I'm unable to clear snow. She was ok with open cab, but I convinced her otherwise...

Winter heating season is here, Wood stove TIP

Around here, propane ain't cheap. Got to write a big check for that. Only small checks needed for firewood off property. Even if i figure in a $200 chainsaw, and a $1000 stove and pipe over 20 plus years, still much smaller check to wright. Splitter use is free. Point is, either side of debate...

    Need a yard truck?

While I'm new to the utv scene, our plan is to use it for a yard cart, in winter, for plowing. While I do the plowing, my wife wanted an option for her in case I'm gone or unable to do it. I've always used a snowblower or my tractor, it should be interesting to try the utv.

Is the Cyber Truck a Flop?

I never knew that was the reason. It could be quite the challenge to expand lanes through that area while keeping everything open and accessible. I admit I only drive the 45 speed limit through there when I'm behind someone doing 45. But it does become dangerous in snowy weather.

Is the Cyber Truck a Flop?

I did state I like them. Just not owning one. Truth be told, not owning a fast vehicle keeps me out of trouble, including the dual sport bike I bought. I already know it's not powerful enough for me, but if it was, I'd be running it... Running top speed of 70 mph on my 250, keeps me out of trouble.

    Grass build up

As far as the uncut strips, mine developed those after a year or so. I took the time to level, front to back, side to side, as well as the anti scalp wheels, and it has taken care of issue. (this was after my wife ran over a piece of 1/2" 18" tall rebar boundary marker pin) Didn't see or hear it???

    Grass build up

2023 ZTS1 50" cut. owned since new. Right now, I'm cutting lawn without pully guards, and it still collects, but not nearly as much. I've used a leaf blower, and as powerful as it is, it is difficult to get the bunched up, compacted grass out. Cutting about 2 1/2 acres.

Because I grew up to be frugal, resourceful etc., I have been dealing with 40+ year old lever grease gun. After reading the start of this thread, I decided to buy a new pistol grip. Should have done it years ago, just for the convenience of making it a two hand operation instead of two hands and...

    2019 ford ranger review....

Just took a couple pics. I bought new in April 2020. Lariat model, Sport package. I really like this style rim, not flashy, but still looks good. About 54k miles on it now. The rims/tires on it now are the new takeoffs I bought.
