I just noticed, I think, that the jacket has a hood. That would be a great addition. My current jacket has just a tall collar, and with long arms, long legs, and long neck, it's not tall enough to be effective.

That's why we got a enclosed cab with wipers. No sense going from cold sucky shovel, to cold sucky snowblower to cold sucky utv. Could never justify a utv until my wife said she wanted an option for her, in case I'm unable to clear snow. She was ok with open cab, but I convinced her otherwise...

While I'm new to the utv scene, our plan is to use it for a yard cart, in winter, for plowing. While I do the plowing, my wife wanted an option for her in case I'm gone or unable to do it. I've always used a snowblower or my tractor, it should be interesting to try the utv.

After pulling countless sticks wedged in various places underneath tractor from brush hogging, I will try to only mow down saplings in reverse. I've had to use a saw to get some out.

2023 ZTS1 50" cut. owned since new. Right now, I'm cutting lawn without pully guards, and it still collects, but not nearly as much. I've used a leaf blower, and as powerful as it is, it is difficult to get the bunched up, compacted grass out. Cutting about 2 1/2 acres.

That must be my issue, not perfectly level ground. It is compacted sandy, stone base. One side of the 3PH is always an inch or two higher/lower than the other. Trying to muscle/lift one side of brush hog with a bar is a major PIA.

One feature my new Kioti has is a linked pedal. Just like driving a car, when you press forward pedal, the RPM respond in kind. I can unlink when using the PTO to keep RPM at proper speed.

The Betsco 68" can cut to a 6" height. There is an adjustment on the roller.

I looked seriously at the Mechmaxx and it was the short height max cut that drew me away, for my intended purposes. I loved everything else about it. It was not the offset though, don't forsee me needing it.

I can't speak of your tractor, whenever I engage a PTO, be it on tractor or lawnmower, I always engage at a low speed. With my tractor, I engage at low speed and release clutch slowly.

I put motorcycle springs on mine too. Not sure what you mean by seat locking in. Mine has always been able to be lifted. And what a night and day difference between the stock plastic and springs.

That is the same outcome as I fear mine is. Exact same conditions... no nuts in mine, but grass sludge. At this time, I don't want to spend that much money on it, if I could even find someone. Hydo oil is cheap, and with new tractor, will get much less use. Good luck.

Just a personal preference, I prefer FWD. I don't always release the drive bar when navigating hilly areas, around trees etc. Tilting back lifts front wheels so I can twist around a tree for example. I don't like pull/release/pull/release for my style mowing. That's just me though.
