@laurencen This sounds like the situation I'm in. I didn't try it until recently, and I'm no longer under warranty. I'll try the few things @ruffdog suggested. I'm guessing it just doesn't work.

I tried two cables: 1) lighting-to-mini adapter, then mini stereo cable to AUX port on radio. 2) A no-adapter solution: one cable that goes lighting-to-mini-stereo (lighting-to-AUX) I like the idea of the Bluetooth receiver plug, though my AUX port might not be working...

Interesting, I'll take a look. You're right I'm currently working with 2 puck-style skid shoes. I've adjusted the skid shoes to raise the cutting edge up, but I either haven't found the right height, I just need more experience (likely), or another type of shoe/guide would help.

@Cycledude I saw your post about edge tamers. Will they work on the cutting edge of a snow blower? Will they work on uneven dirt roads, or do they only work on smooth surfaces (road beds, lawns, etc.)?

@ruffdog The only info QuickAttach provides is that it is a 2000 series Eaton Char-Lynn motor spec'd for 24 - 28 GPM, but they don't say which size it is. If I ever have to take it apart, I'll take note of the motor specs.

@ruffdog re. the weight of sand, I estimate it to be 600 - 700 lbs. The buckets are filled up to ~2-3" shy of the bucket rim. I didn't weigh them, but I filled a few of the buckets by cutting open one 60 lb bag of sand per bucket (the others were filled from a sand pile).
