    New to quick hitches

As a relative newb myself. I looked into this and decided to try the HF and save the cash. My research told me that there were issues with older implements and the HF QH. My implements are all relatively new (Chipper and Box blade). Once I set it up (adjusting the height of the center link...

    Kioti cx2510 vs tym264 vs Branson 2610 h

I have the Bobcat CT2025. Withe the exception of slightly less lifting capacity of the FEL, it is identical to the Kioti (same manufacturer). When I purchased mine, 2020, it was about $3k less than the ck2610 kioti due to incentives. My dealer is great and so is the tractor. I only use the...

    First electric tractor ride

I wonder what a forum like this would have looked like when the first gas powered tractors were hitting the market claiming to replace horses!

Business Ethics In The Tractor Industry

My Bobcat dealer in Marysville WA, bent over backwards to help me get the tractor I needed when I needed it at what I thought was a fair price. He even took an entire day to deliver my tractor and implements to an island (expensive ferry ride) and put them on a barge on the coldest, wettest day...

chipper: heavier, 1000rpm flywheel better for smaller tractor? WC68, WM-8h, WC88

I picked up a once used 5in Wallenstein chipper for my Bobcat 2025. I know I am underpowered for this chipper but I am careful to only feed <4in branches in it. It ain't fast, but it gets the job done at 540rpm 22hp. I have learned to wear all the safety gear I own (hardhat w face shield...

    L3301 or similar

Regardless of which size tractor you buy, the HST will likely have higher resale. If you are concerned about power, PTO and lifting capacity, you might consider a Kioti/Bobcat. The specs of the 25hp models rival the 33hp kubota. Features and cost are impressive.

    Another confused first timer

I am a relatively new guy as well. After doing all the research I moved from JD to Kubota to New Holland to Kioti and finally ended purchasing a Bobcat 2025 Compact Tractor. These are made by the same people that make Kioti, but have slightly less lifting capacity then the Kioti, still far...

Branson 3510 (2004) lost hydraulics (three point and front end loader)

Had a similar problem and it turned out that one of my hydraulic connectors between the loader and the tractor was not fully engaged. It looked fine until I gave it a tug and realized it was not fully connected. Pushed it in and hydraulics returned... of course this was after about 4 hours of...

Alternative to EA 55 Inch Wicked Root Rake Grapple ?

I wanted to get the EA, but living WA state meant some hefty shipping costs and there was a significant wait. I purchased a 60in grapple for my Bobcat CT2025 from the local LC dealer in stock. The grapple is labeled LC, Korea, but the dealer insists it is Canadian made. It cost 2k. it is very...

Grapple opens but it will not close

Problem Solved! Rookie mistake. After trying everything, carefully followed the lines and discovered one of the poppet style, not flat-face quick connect couplers between the Loader and the tractor had popped open but the poppet was still in the female end so it was still physically, but not...

Grapple opens but it will not close

To be more specific, I can only move the grapple by hand when I have the Close button pressed. If it is not pressed, it does not move. I assume this means that the Solenoid is opening when I press it. I can also hear it click open. I spoke with my grapple dealer (Micah, Town and Country...

Grapple opens but it will not close

Thanks to all. The hydraulic oil is/was full. I did activate the solenoid with the key on, engine off. I have switched the connects. Unfortunately, they are different (male/female) I will need to make jumpers to do this.....kind a pricey. I agree, the sloshing (or maybe squishing) is not a...

Grapple opens but it will not close

I tried pluging and unplugging a couple of times. When I have the close button pushed it will not close, but I can easily close it by hand with the button pressed. I can also easily open it.... Additionally, if I move it manually back and forth I can hear a fluid sloshing in it.

Grapple opens but it will not close

I have an LS grapple and I am using it with my Bobcat 2025 with a 3rd function Hydraulic connection. I've only used it a few times. I have disconnected it and connected it a few times without difficulty. Yesterday I had trouble connecting the hydraulic flush face hoses. I read about many ways to...

Justify price difference between a John Deere 3033R and Bobcat CT2035

I had a similar decision to make last year. I started out favoring Kubota as I have a Beta Marine engine in my sailboat and it is fabulous. After researching all the major brands that were available in my area, I was all ready to pull the trigger on the Kioti. Looking around all the forums...

Kubota L3901 HST vs. Kioti 4010SE HST Compact Tractor Pricing

I had a similar situation last year. After all the research, I was ready to pull the trigger on the Kioti, for all the features and price. Then I saw that Bobcat was making tractors again, or should I say, selling tractors again, because their tractors are made by Kioti and only differed in...

    Comparison  Bobcat 2025

I am a first time tractor buyer. I am predominantly going to be doing loader/grapple work clearing fallen timber on 13 acres of forest. (no mowing or field work) I have been doing it do date with chain saws and a M274 Military Mule. It is slow, tough work. I am fortunate to have an old...
