BX Move the fuel filter without a kit?

I have searched and haven't found anything on this. Lots of posts, maybe I missed it. I have changed my underbody fuel filter several times and I am sick of doing it. Usually because it clogs in the winter. Is there any problem with just moving the underbody fuel filter under the hood? Has...

Snow blade on bucket/front end loader

I thought I would post this in case anyone was interested. I have a Kubota BX1860 with a front end loader and snowblower. But I noticed it was much easier to plow 6 inches or less of snow with the snow blade on my ATV. It worked so well I added a removable snow blade to my bucket. Contrary to...

    Hydraulic pressure release DIY

Often I would remove my FEL in the morning and try to put it back on in the hotter afternoon. But, the pressure in the FEL hydraulic lines would be too high to attach the tractor lines. So, I built this cheap little device. It is simply a male hydraulic fitting with the 'ball' inside removed. I...

    Braber Agriease pto snowblower quality

Has anyone owned one of these? I am looking at the 50" rear pto blower for $1199 at NorthernTool. Is it a quality attachment, or is it a piece of crap? How does it compare to other low cost units like the Meteor? Thanks!

    BX1860 foldable rops, rollbar?

I have searched both this site and the web but cannot find anything. Is there a foldable rops or roll bar for the bx1860 or 1850available anywhere? Has anyone put a hinge on theirs or found a quick release for the roll bar that actually looks nice? Thanks in advance for any responses.

    BX1860 PTO delay when engaging

When I move my lever to engage the pto for the belly mower there is a delay of from 7-10 seconds before it engages. Is this normal? I don't remember it taking that long last year. Fluid is at a normal level.

    Removable extension on rear blade?

I have a 5' rear blade for my bx1860 that works great for most snowfalls. It is about 3" wider on each side than the tractor when it is angled to drag the snow off the driveway. But, when the snow gets over 8-10 inches or so it would be nice to have about a 6" extension on one side so I don't...

Snowblower  Mount 2 snowblowers to bucket?

Ok, it isn't that I am cheap, it is more that I have a lot of free time and enjoy projects. I have 2 older 24" snowblowers that run fine, but aren't really worth anything. Has anyone tried bolting or welding 2 snow blowers together and mounting them to their fel bucket? It seems like a very...

    BX1860 4 season review

In case anyone is searching I thought I would do a quick review of my Kubota bx1860 on my Minnesota vineyard. I have the front end loader and 54 inch deck. And, of course, the engine heater. Background: 600 foot gravel driveway with hills and curves. 2 acres of vineyard. 4 acres mowed. Live on a...

    Converted front snowblower to 3pt

I'm not sure if anyone is interested, but I found this bolens 48 inch front mount snowblower for sale at a local farm for $50. I'm not sure about the model or year. I figured $50 sounded a lot better than $1700 for a 3 point snowblower, so I bought it with the hopes of converting it. It was a...

    PTO reverse adapter?

I need to reverse the direction of my pto on my kubota bx1860. I have searched this site and the web and can't seem to find anything. Anyone know where I can find such an adapter. Seems pretty simple. Otherwise I will take my free snowblower apart and try to fix that end of it. Thanks!

    L1500dt oil filter

Ok, so I am a novice at this. I have ordered a manual but haven't gotten it yet. Written on the cowling of my tractor is "filter # 30400-37710. Now, kubota lists this as a hydraulic filter. SO, if that is the hydraulic filter, anyone have any idea where the oil filter is? Thanks!
