Today's job was finding some corners and cutting out a property line and cleaning a path big enough around some existing fence lines for the owners to access, all skid steer work in the A/C, glad of it they had heat warnings today, said it feels like 110 degrees.

I'm going to work a job tomorrow and I am going to try it, probably a little trial and error learning how set it up and adjust for a good cut.

Pastora will work but Impose will work better at about 8-10 ounces per acre, 2,4,D at 1 quart to the acre will take care of the dog fennels, the Impose and 2,4,D can be mixed together to cover everything with one trip.

More important than all different types of grease is the fact that you grease it regularly, I buy and use a good grease that is suitable for bearings and use it for everything, never had a problem.

The John Blue pump on the Sprayers/Nitrogen Applicators was a game changer in the fact that you no longer have to calculate and run numbers to get accurate application rates , once set the pump compensates for your ground speed and IMO is very accurate.

That mower that you are using is doing a really nice job in my opinion, a cleaner looking finish than a rotary cutter.

2,4,D will kill wild mustard and will not harm grass, as always read the label, but it should get it done for you.

I cut hay today and had to shutdown for about 10 minutes and herd a covey of very young wild turkey chicks into the woods and out of the hay field to safety towards where their momma went.

That's pushing the limits of the 32hp tractor but if the conditions are right and or you are willing to gear down and cut slow under a little taller grass you should be able to do it.

Yep, I call it painting lines, and while it has many more features, painting lines is mostly what I use mine for.

I re-decked my gooseneck last year with PT pine, I put 2 coats of used hydraulic fluid and diesel fuel mix and that will be to do every year to make it last, but you are one and done with yours.

That should be a lifetime floor.

I also use a Raven GPS system and it allows me to put out fertilizer or spray herbicides and pesticides and be +or- an inch or so, I think they are a very useful tool to minimize wasting expensive chemicals and fertilizers.

I imagine everytime their priorities change so does the price, it's nothing but good for your bottom line and bank account.

I'd keep both and wouldn't worry about what someone else wanted me to do, they are payed for and when you get out and use them it helps to keep you from rusting up and that is priceless.

That happens to me a lot of times, I get to working and before I know it I'm done , or I get about half way home and say dang I forgot to get pictures.

I would think a rolling cultivator would be what you are talking about, that's what I use between rows of peas, corn, etc.They are fully adjustable depending on the width of the rows.

According to Post# 109 they self destruct, I have always found Land Pride to be fairly well made implements.

Well the cambium layer is already healed over, so just cut a thin sliver off the top and apply the roundup around the outer layer of the stump and she will be through, add your fill dirt and don't look back.

I have always greased each side of the square part on the ball that slides down into the bed and have never had an issue with mine being stuck, I have used never seize, oxide inhibitor and plain old grease and all have kept the ball from becoming seized.

Are the stumps still green or have they been cut long ago and dead? If still green I would take a chainsaw and cut a thin layer off the top and immeadiately take straight glyophosphate/roundup and put it all the way around the cambium layer/bark which will ensure that the stump won't sprout...

The spray mix will do just as good as if you mixed it yesterday most likely, and on the farm we spray everything out of the same 500 gallon sprayer and have for years without any issues of any kind, If you have any doubts try a test area. Good luck.

You are not going to be happy with a 6 x 12 trailer, you need a little room on a trailer to adjust the load forward or backward to get the right amount of tongue weight, personally I would think a 16' trailer with 2 axles would be a much better fit.
