To get a pump to prime make sure inlet has no leaks and open pressure line at the pump and jog the engine over a few times till oil comes out the pressure line. This allows the trapped air to be expelled and once the pump gets a gulp of oil it will continue to run.

If valve has PB option you should have seven hoses connected to the valve. If PB is supposed to functioning and you block the PB port pump flow is being forced over the relief any time the valve is not in use. Depending on valve design this might also pressurize the float circuit.

How much distance below grade to you require? Most FEL by design will pick the front tires off the ground with the bucket flat so that you can follow ground contours, dig a little below grade, etc. Longer cylinders will reduce this distance.

sounds like mechanical binding in the pivot joint on the front axle. Not sure if they are bearings or bushings separating the rigid axle from the rotating (turning) wheel hub assembly. I would not get to rough but tapping with block or wood should indicate if it try's to move.

My experience with industrial tires is on a skid steer and in snow they were next to worthless since the wide face and wide lugs just slide across the snow. Have no experience with industrial tires on tractors but would suspect same problem if on snow pack or ice.

In the picture you posted and labeled you have the rear vane pump shown connecting to the drive motor this would definitely cause the problem you are experiencing. The two work ports on the hydrostatic drive pump should connect to the two work ports on the drive motor.

Metric O-rings are typically sized by ID and cross section so in this case 20mm x 2.5 mm American that would be very close to 0.103 cross section which is very common and .784 ID which is probably also close to standard size. American sizes are frequently a 2-*** numbering system
