Do you intend to mount them on the rear axles, rear wheels, or 3-point lift?

Example... 600 pounds , it's a 2x2x1 foot box filled with concrete (150 pound per square foot)....

I use the factory 70 Lb wheel weights, they help with rear tire TRACTION, but don't relieve the front axle of any weight ...

I've also added 275 Lbs via the BH frame, mostly for TRACTION when using an attachment on the ground ...

I also designed and built my own rear ballast box to fit my quick hitch to keep the weight forward and tight, for hauling a trailer, but also a tote on the front ...

Actually weighs 707 Lbs

Probably on the 3 point lift
A 55-gallon drum, a cross drawbar, some rebar and concrete can result in this. Put the cross drawbar high enough so you can set it on the ground from the lift - will be easier to hook up.

Cast some PVC pipes into it to hold shovels and such. Maybe a flattened piece to hold your chainsaw. .
Perhaps continue the pipe thru to the bottom so water drains out and don't freeze and crack it.
And I made one that I cast a hitch into it but the next one will be a 2" ID square tube receiver so I can switch drawbars.
I use that hitch all the time.

I use my rototiller as ballast on my Ford. Often tossing on some wheel weights onto it that came off of a different tractor.

Eventually I may build a steel weight carrier bar, but I don't have one yet.
