good morning all.
cool morning and a lovely Fall day in the mid 70's.
been sitting here thinking about what to get into today, really need to start clearing out
part of the veggie garden, looking kinda sad. Need to pick the last icebox watermelon and get rid of the jungle
of mildewed vines. It was a year of mildew and leaf blight, at least for my tomatoes.
picked two nice full size green peppers yesterday, rarely do they get full size but I hadn't checked on these in a while.
but nothing of mine ever compares to the gigantic peppers in the supermarket.
except in taste
RS's green beans looked perfect, like a commercial. He is going to have a wonderful batch of veggies put away.
one thing I'm going to try today if it arrives early enough is a new blade sharpener I ordered from Amazon.
I looked up the top rated knife sharpening stone and the same company also makes a hand file.
Looks like it might work well on several things I own, including my small mower blade that has a big curve in it
that is hard to sharpen on my bench grinder. Don't know how it will fit into other small tools like pruners and clippers.
But going to find out. When you look around and wonder what else can I sharpen?
