Grease trailer sleeve coupler

I never use anything for last 20+ years. Been towing all my life.
Found that when I used something, it just attracted dirt.

I use this where I need a lubricant that wont attract dust.

That looks about the same as the T9 in my post above, except in spray form.
Goes on wet and dries in seconds.
If it works on motorcycle chains, it ought to be good for a slide style sleeve coupler on a trailer hitch.

Same. Used some Fluid Film on one once. Thought being it would last longer. Made to messy too work with and attracted dirt until it wore off.

The strongest coupler out there. I never lube mine. The first thing I do when I unhook is take my jack block and tap the sleeve. Loosens right up and then it operates easy.

WD40 is not a lube. I'd ask/call PJ themselves.

If it's an original, yes, but I got a copy (guess the patent expired) on a trailer and it was not good at all.

Fixed it by converting to a tow ring, like I do on most bumper pull trailers that doesn't need a WD hitch.
