Kubota L3400

I have a L3700 SU which is basically the same tractor. It comes with a 463 loader and I have seen a few for sale on CL and marketplace over the years. The 3PH is jerky when trying to feather it.. I wish it wasn't . Overall the tractor is very solid and well built. No electronic or DPF BS to worry about. I bought mine new..Have about 400 hours on it now and has been trouble free outside of some self inflicted wounds.
Does anyone know which kubotas had the quarter inching 3pt as opposed to position control?

I used my 2004 L3430 for 10 years and 1K hours before trading up. It was a great tractor and I got every penny it cost new, back in trade. Yeah, the 3pt was a bit of a pain, but I got used to it. No fuel system issues though.

That L3400 looks like a good deal, but as others have said, if you really need a tractor with a loader, it will likely cost more to add one than buying a tractor with a FEL already attached.

Do you need the four implements that come with the L3400? If not, you could sell the ones you don't need to offset the cost of adding a loader.

How much work do you do that requires a FEL? They are certainly handy for a variety of day to day tasks, but if you could rent a tractor with FEL to do occasional loader work, that L3400 would be a good choice.

Just my 2 cents.

Try Westendorf Manufacturing for an FFL, I purchased one for an old L4200 I purchased a few years back, it included all mounting brackets, hoses, etc.

My B2620 had quarter inching, the BXxx80 series does also. The Bxx01 that replaced the Bxx20 series has position control. The Bxx30 series, which was replaced by the LX series, had position control also. Except I believe there was a B or LX series SU model that didn't(I just looked it up, it was the B3350su that was quarter inching) . It gets confusing.

I think the only models that don't have position control now are the BX

I bought my first tractor new, without a loader. When time came that I needed a loader, I bought a Woods and had it installed. It was close to $6k at that time, but it was a great loader and lifted a lot. I was very happy with doing that.

I am looking at getting a L3400. Its a 2007 with no front end loader. it has under 500 hours. my biggest concern it that it doesnt have the loader. it has 4 attachemnets finish mower, tiller, brush hog,and plow. Are they hard to get?
