    Just another junk chainsaw

Video's The stock set up was 11" down 11 across. With the other echo set. I ended up fattening it up a 1/4 turn on H side to bring it down some. 10.75" Down, 11 across

    Just another junk chainsaw

Some guys have fines get by the intake side where air filter mount. The o-ring I showed stops that. Also can use some grease along with or maybe by itself. Ya I thought about that too. I would only use it bucking. If you wanted something like this for all uses, you could always by that A2D...

Retuned for next try. Noticed it had picked up rpm's before last test session with switch. The 490 500 dont like higher rpm's the way 501 4910 can compared to those. Just trying the $30 set up for fun on my 490. Might try on one of my higher revving 501’s later. I ended up fattening it up a...

IMHO if you dont have a issues with fines on stock air filter running the o-ring like I do. Not worth it to me. Echo 490 that I took on trade years ago. It was hack ported no squish or base cut. Running stock air filter with oring. Then running echo parts Joe showed using years back. Total...

I just bought an Echo 2511t clone for $99. What was I thinking?

@CalG I liked the G372xp pro better then the regular ones. Even though it comes with goofy looking carbon fiber covers. Comes with walbro carb, meteor piston kits and better china made cylinder. Squish etc was tighter like oem one. Half wrap handles sorta weaklings. If running half wrap...

    Echo CS-500P any good

Amazing what a extra 12cc of saw will do. 400 clamshell 40cc saw to the 350 52cc if the later ones and 50cc if early ones. Owned a few 350 to know they dont compare to a 400 honestly. Not even in the same ball park.

No ported saws are not needed. Just buy next size up. But then again you just never know when they come in handy. Morning Laugh in my chainsaw repair group.

    Echo CS-500P any good

Not really very much at all. My dads stock poulan 3300 louder and stock 346 of mine louder still. Listen mine is open without the restrictive pipe and opened front deflector like I showed. The 346 sounds louder still with stock muffler. It got opened after this video.

    Echo CS-500P any good

@rangerfredbob H side 3 1/8 is stock carb setting out from lightly seated. For 490 500. Fine tuning it after opening it will give or take. Even stiff carb dias could caused being out to 4. I dont know if 500 rev limited like 490 by coil. But somewhere in 12's is good on my ported 490. Here...

Echo 2511T is an amazing saw!

That's Brad's Twin solo. I think he has 2 of them now the 100cc and 110cc. He lives southwest of me a couple hours. Another friend has one north of me. I have ran his. Then another friend in MI has a whole slew of them 100cc and 110cc. I even have pics of a solo twin cutaway a guy is...

Optical illusion. I would have swore the white one opening was smaller. But measured both same. I was ready to open it up too.

I just bought an Echo 2511t clone for $99. What was I thinking?

Pretty sure it is 3x5 as that is what I buy but have yet to have to replace it in clone 2511 or oem one. Sure you dont need the grommet or is it just 3 holes on the clone one with line or just different then oem one shown? Other pic is clone one with lines attached.
