I suppose I could get a second test light and have one on each cylinder too.
I'm thinking the lean fuel idea though might be the culprit as this started when I realized the choke was sticking closed and fixed that.
I'll try the choke idea as the problem started about the time I found out I had a sticky choke. I fixed the sticky choke and the stuttering started.
If that's the case I'll have to pull the carb and clean it up.
Thanks all. I'll update next time I cut the grass.
Yes, I replaced both. I presume both are working normally as other than this issue the engine runs smoothly. When I suspected the coil I tested both and one clearly wasn't making the test light come on, and the tractor wouldn't start. I replaced it and it started right up.
I have an X530 I've had for about 2 years. Late last season it started having an issue where it will stutter when I engage the blades at full throttle. Usually this happens when I've had to stop the blades to move something or back up without pulling up on the engagement lever, then go to...
The part circled in yellow is the one no one seems to have with their for sale units.
This picture is from a compatabiliity kit. So now I'm not sure if my 2012 x530 needs it or not as the compatability kit is for later models. Just confused as the "official" John Deere video shows it being...
Have a new to me X530 and I'm looking to get a snowblower for it.
I watched the attachment video and it looks like besides the blower itself there are 6 pieces I need:
Rear lift bracket (attaches to the hydraulic lift mechanism)
2 Rear lift links (rods that go between rear lift bracket, and...
Thanks for the info. I had not come across a bucket spade, but I like it.
The length thing makes sense. Once you get that far out you're losing a lot of the leverage equation.
The link to the stump bucket is the one you had and sold?
I want to get a stump bucket for my L2800.
Anyone have any experience with one on an L2800 or similar size/power tractor?
I'd mainly use it for small pine and cherry stumps in sandy soil, and maybe some trenching duty.
I see the ones from Mid-State and skid steer attachment depot. They...
Well I ended up moving both of these, and didn't lose any money on the deal. I'll call this a lesson learned and either A.) consult the dealer first, or B.) only buy for my specific model.
I think I'm done with attachments for the John Deere anyway, now that I have the L2800 in that other...
You speak the truth. I thought I was on to a great deal here, but after doing a lot of reading online and talking to the dealer it doesn't sound like a logical plan to try to make the plow work unless I come across the GX335 frame for it cheap somewhere.
Hoping to just sell them and keep...
Yep, even after looking through that I wasn't clear on it so I went ahead and bought them as the price seemed right. Now that I have them I can definitely see they're not for my tractor.
Thanks for the replies. Looks like they're for an X500 series.
Anyone need a blade and/or tiller for their X500 :)
I'm assuming the tiller is compatible with my GX335, but I need a different frame mount. Is that true?
I have a GX335 and I wanted to get one of the 30" tillers for it. I came across one for sale, and the guy wanted to sell a blade with it.
The part numbers on the stickers weren't much help as far as compatability with my GX335. From what I found online I believed the tiller is compatible...
