Thanks for the above. I see Earthtools has an adapter to convert from the 3 flange BCS to 1 & 3/8” PTO. I know there are PTO driven 3-point hitch wood splitters -American CLS sells one for example- but it’s rated for 30+ hp at the PTO. So I’m guessing that my 749 wouldn’t spin the pump on...

Oh, I try to stay inside December through February! I would usually be swapping out the mower deck for the splitter. It might not be much to swap implements compared to a 3 point hitch but it’s still a pain and adds enough time to the job to be a consideration.
