    Insurance

Auto Owners wrote mine for $39.53 per year on my Yanmar 424, and $32.12 per year on my little Kubota excavator. They show both as "garden tractor class".

    Loud Popping from Excavator Track

I have a little KX008-3 and mine does the same thing. I think it's usually sticks or something out in the woods.

    Yanmar SA325 newbie

I had mine running on a slight hill this weekend and it rolled some. Not nearly as easily as a gear drive tractor in neutral, but it does roll a bit of the brake is off or the loader isn't down. I think any tractor with a hydro does that.

    Yanmar SA325 newbie

If you can push it on flat ground that is very strange. Is that with the tractor running or shut off? I guess I can't remember exactly how mine rolls with it running, I was thinking when the tractor is shut off it will creep if it's on a hill. I should be at my campground this weekend where the...

    Yanmar SA325 newbie

My 424 will roll a little on a gentle slope. It is kind of jerky when it rolls, as the fluid must be working its way through the hydro. Usually having the loader down is enough to stop it, unless the hill is pretty steep then I set the brake.

Oil & Fuel  Mobil SHC 639

Has anybody ever heard of, or used Mobil SHC 639 gear oil? I have a friend who says he has a pail of it he would give me, but I'm having trouble finding too much info on it. I'd like to use it in my 1935 A John Deere transmission and rearend, but I can't find the viscosity anywhere. I did find...

    Cx2510 trailer

I've hauled my Yanmar 424 on a 12' trailer a few times, but I have to remove the bucket and load it backwards in front with the loader arms sitting in the bucket. A CX2510 is about the same length, so I would say 14' minimum if you want to haul it with the bucket attached. I much prefer hauling...

    Summit rear remotes on SA424

I don't know if I have them anymore, but I can look. There are several youtube videos showing install of these, but I can't find one for a Yanmar. The hardest thing is finding your power beyond port, which is under the seat. Here is a link to a video of a guy doing a third function on his 324...

What is some of your Pet Peeve's

People driving down the interstate looking at their phones the whole time. I see it every time I go on the freeway. It makes me so mad I want to roll down my window and throw my beer at 'em!

    My Brothers Estate

If it's a relatively inexpensive gun safe I have heard that they can sometimes be opened with a rare earth magnet. You can probably find videos on Youtube that show how.
