    1984 B5100E

If you're passionate to learn about wrenching on diesels you may be disappointed. They don't seem to need much. If it starts easily and runs it may go for a very long time but with the number of years on it a clutch or engine rebuild may be in your future. With a tractor that old and unknown...

    MT2001FD Solenoid ... andstarter???

It's pretty dirty but it appears a couple bolts hold the solenoid to the starter. I could be mistaken but if you can remove the retaining bolts and pull it off it obviously was not one piece. It may be a standard part you could obtain through NAPA. If not you could probably easily adapt a...

    Mahindra 25 max starting issues

You say you can jump the starter and get it to turn over. Then you turn the key off and it won't stop until the battery dies. Does that mean the starter keeps cranking until the battery dies? If you jumped the starter it's not affected by the key. You should never engage the starter for over...

    Hydraulic lever under seat?

The handle does look like the three point control. I have no idea what your "adjustment screw" would be. The control should not affect the three point lift. At one extreme it should prevent the three point from lowering from the control. At the other extreme the three point will drop in an...

"You've got a MOLE PROBLEM" he said

You can usually see mole trails as they tunnel very shallowly. They appear as linear humps on your lawn. Gophers usually have a pile of dirt at their exit holes. You can't actually see the hole without probing the dirt pile for the soft spot then digging to expose it. Ground squirrels and...

    Battery Light B2910

It should go out a little above idle. Try monitoring the generator output voltage as various engine speeds. It sounds like the brushes may be worn out. Replacing them is generally a simple process. Another option is a defective voltage regulator but I'd start with the brushes.

    PTO position lever locks.

Are you perchance referring to the three point up and down stops? My PTO lever is either to engage or disengage the PTO. I have no other positions.

    B414 PTO

When engaging the PTO I have the tractor at idle, depress the clutch, and engage the PTO. If depressing the clutch does not prevent grinding your clutch may be out of adjustment. There should be about an inch of free play at the pedal before it starts to disengage the drive.

    2600 alternator

There's a difference between what will fit and what will work. You need more information on the new alternator identifying connections as well as info on the old one. Or you could make the adapters for a GM one wire alternator.

    PTP Pump for 2520

The lift spec would probably depend on the specific brand and model. How deep is the well? Pumps generally push water better than they suck it.

I am facing steering issue in my Kubota B7400

I think you're saying your steering works intermittently. A bit more information would be helpful for troubleshooting - like the operating conditions under which it becomes difficult to steer.

    L2502 problems

I don't know how your power steering works but my old Mitsubishi was two wheel drive without power steering. Adequate pressure in the front tires was essential for easier steering.

    DPF

If you want to avoid a DPF shop for tractors below 25 hp or older than 2014. I had bad experience with a diesel pickup with DPF so I held the line at 25 HP when I bought my new tractor. It's adequate for me.

Battery issue? (yes, I read the other threads)

You have a ten year old machine. If you have the original battery there's a strong possibility it's shot. I went to You Tube to see what I could see and concluded if you cannot raise the bed you cannot replace the battery. Unless there's some way to easily disconnect the hydraulic ram to...
