    shear bolt ?

When the shear bolt breaks does this cause some damage to the yoke where the 2 pieces meet and break away. A friend of mine says everytime it breaks it does something to damage it somehow. I am pretty new to this stuff. Could there be anything to this?

    Block heater?

Do the inline heaters that fit on the bottom radiator hose work as well as the block heater? It seems like it would be a lot easier to install an inline one. But only if it works anywhere as well as the block heater.

    4300 PTO stalls

I first noticed it when I was running the rotary tiller, it would stop the tiller when it would hit a rock or something. Then when I was using the posthole digger today the auger would stop if I hit a rock so I would pull it up and it would start turning again. Any thoughts. Thanks, Jeff

    Tiller  RPM's for rotary tiller

Could there be any ill effects for running a rotary tiller at less than the 540 RPM's? It calls for 2,700 RPM's on my JD 4300 to run the tiller at 540 RPM's, it just seems like its really screaming there. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Adding infilter screen to 4300

I have been reading on here about an additional inline filter on some tractors. I have looked on my 98 4300 w/ synrev w/ power beyond and cant see any inline filter around the rockshaft. What are my options? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Jeff
