Found the problem. I took out my handy jumper wire and started to check all the safety switches. It was the neutral switch. I checked the connection yesterday, but I jumped it today. It started right up. I have it jumped for now until I get a new one.
I checked the neutral safety switch connection and rechecked the bypassed seat switch. A ran a wire from positive to the battery terminal E to start it. It started and I moved it out of the mud and into my garage.
My tractor is sitting in some mud right now. If I take a wire and connect it from the battery to the wire on the starter, wouldn’t that bybass all the safety switches and start the tractor. That way I can at least get it on pavement to check the switches.
I was doing a lot of work with my tractor and I **** it off to go eat. When I came back it will not start. I hear the relay clicking, but it will not turn over. I have the seat switch bypassed so it isn’t that. It happens 3 days ago too. I let it sit for a while then I washed it. After that it...
I bought a total of three UHMW Sheet 3/4" x 4" x48" By Peachtree Woodworking - PW1125 from Amazon. The FEL width is about 2 in longer than the UHMV so there is an inch gap on each side. I bought 1/2 carriage bolts and bored out each hole enough to make the bolt flush with the UHMV. For the rear...
I dare it to snow in central Virginia this year. I finished adding UHMV strips to my FEL and Rear Blade. I removed the cutting edge on the rear blade so I wouldn’t have to drill any holes in it. I didn’t realize how heavy it was. So I’m already for the snow to fall.
I had to buy a new m10x1.25x20mm bolt and cut 10mm off of it. I couldn’t find m10x1.25x10 unless I order it through LS and who know how long it would take to come in. I checked the other drain bolt and it was loose, but didn’t work it’s way out. Ended up adding more fluid.
I made a snow blade for my FEL. Bought some UHMV poly from Amazon. They were supposed to be 48in long but it was 47 and 3/4. They were 3/4in thick. I bolted it down by using a Forstner bit and a 1/2 drill bit. I also beveled the edge. I’m making one for my grader blade too. All this means is...
So I was working in by backyard leveling some dirt and I started to smell smell something nasty. With 20 years of experience as a Army mechanic, that smell was very familiar. I drove the tractor on to my concrete slab and and immediately looked at my front axle. My right tire was soaked with...
Just tested them in the darkness. First with just front headlights, then with LED bar. Did the same for the rear. Front may need a little adjustment.
.
I added LED lighting to my ROP bar. Since my MT125 is only a year old, I didn’t want to do any drilling or wire splicing. I am currently using the 12v power plug(cigarette lighter) as my power source. I added a switch in a project box mounted to my Caution sign bracket. I used u-bolts and a one...
If anyone buys the 5 Ft blade from Tractor supply, I would suggest also buying a new top link that is slightly longer than the one that comes with the tractor. There is literally no tool for adjustments.
