Really a lot in common with a Jinma 354! I think it has the same 35hp engine. I also just found out that a good source for detailled picture of theses tractors isn't chinese website (not at all) but US auction website with many pictures from all around the tractors they've been selling.

Yeah, good idea. Maybe they put this plate over the engine nameplate so I'll take this plate off to see if there's something behind it next time I'm going there.

Thanks! Bob's information about the TY395 engine, the Tang drive and the links for the hydraulic pumps helped me a lot. And Piper184 was right, it looks like a Jinma 284 (same logo on tranny and seat) and some of them pretty much have the same hood. But from the pics I saw, they look smaller...
