On my EA 55" I zip tied the hoses together and then formed a loop that lays on the torque tube which works well most of the time. The only time the loop falls below the tube is on the rare occasion that I max out the curl.
Was browsing the owners manual for my 2008 3320 and noticed that the fuel injectors should be serviced every 2 years, what the heck does that mean? Have never done it and the engine is running fine at 500 hours.
Here's where the hose hangers should be located, one of them just above the exhaust. Installed per JD front hitch installation instructions.
These photos show the location without the hoses, you can see the wire loop is attached to a hole in the frame just above the exhaust:
Is that normal? I don't recall any of my other gas mowers doing that. The engine only has 18 hours on it but its been spitting out the drops since new.
The drops have a dark carbon residue in them so its starting to show up on the concrete floor since the mower is always started in the same...
Just below and set back a little bit from the click N go bracket. Not as handy as yours but for the little use they will get they are fine. Plus its unlikely they will get banged by anything where they are.
Installed the rear remotes today, the kit is very complete and fits the X739 well even though it was designed for the earlier 2 wheel steer models. Only needed to bend one hose hanger near the rear wheel to make sure I had plenty of clearance for the 4 wheel steering.
Rear couplers.

07 Tundra 4x4, 5.7L gas, 6 speed auto towing 8,000lb 30' boat/trailer. About 8mpg towing, 16mpg everyday driving.
At 8mpg probably not the best choice for long distance trips:)
Installed the hitch over the weekend and all went smoothly, no parts missing, no blood spilled and I got by with the tools I had on hand.
As others have mentioned in previous posts accessing the hydraulic fittings is the hardest part of the project, very little room to turn wrenches but...
I'm considering adding the 3pt hitch to my X739 and one of the uses could be a small box blade. Is a hydraulic top link possible? After having top and tilt on my 3320 I would probably feel lost without at least the top link being hydraulic which is what I seem to use the most often when blading...
Just noticed this in the X739 owners manual, "do not oil air precleaner" Is this something new to John Deere?
Every small engine I've had in the past has required the precleaner to be oiled. Is this a EPA thing or because the engine is fuel injected?
