Steering knuckle tie rod hole worn.

Got the torch out tonight with the welding tip so I could have a more pin point flame. Heated the nut after putting a c-clamp on top of the tie rod squeezing it to the knuckle. The nut came right off. The hole seems ok so I put it all back together and put one more washer so the nut wouldn't run...

Steering knuckle tie rod hole worn.

I found a tie rod end I believe for $67. That might help tighten it up. Maybe a couple more washers under the nut as it's all the way down.

Steering knuckle tie rod hole worn.

2001 farmtrac 320dtc Korean built also badged LG So I noticed some play in my tie rod end on the right side while plowing snow. Thought maybe tie rod end was worn but it wasn't. Hoping nut was loose but it wasn't so it's oh crap. Looks like the hole in the steering knuckle is worn. Thoughts...

    Changing run flat tires

I seen them. I was thinking about cutting an old wheel in half to kind of make one. I may buy a tire wheel combo like marathon and put my roller bearings in.

    Changing run flat tires

So the run flats are ready to be replaced on my snapper pro sw30. Running on tire on pavement all the time as worn a thin groove in it. Wheel tire combo is $100 per tire for a new Carlisle Reliance 11x4-5. I can get a couple tires for $60ish but the 2 local tire shops are unsure how to change...

    More residential well questions

Pulled mine last fall and it was difficult to get up. Must have been silt up to the intake ports on the side of the pump. I assume the silt was suctioning it keeping us from just lifting it. After much fiddling up and down as it would only pull up about 4", it broke free and we took one section...

Thank God for Dollar Tree / Family dollar

ANOTHER DOLLAR IN THE HOLLER. Dollar general is ok when it first opens then they have stock sitting on carts from poor staffing. 1 person can't stock, clean, and run register. Another dollar in the holler.

    Question about zero turn transaxles

Might could do one of those transmission pan drain plugs that is a plug inside the plug but that would require removing the side cover.

    Question about zero turn transaxles

I think my 3200's have pipe plugs in them but it may have been casted thicker for it. I remember the older Eaton transaxles. My first Ferris had them.

    Question about zero turn transaxles

As someone else posted, I buy based on engine and trans. Chances are you may be able to sell for what you have in it. I service my hydro gear units with Mobil 1 15-50.

To add a FEL or not

Thanks for replies. Tractor has just over 300hrs on it now. It did have a bad clutch like several have had so it's got a pretty fresh clutch too

To add a FEL or not

To add a FEL or not

So the tractor is a Farmtrac 320dtc Korean built. It does not have a FEL on it. For a couple years now I've searched for a factory fel off of another 320/270 and had about zero luck. I honestly don't have any idea where to start about find one that will work. Seen the ta111 Westendorf but not...
