The setup is: -Power box is plugged in 50 amp generator outlet -Cable from power box plugged in wall outlet connected to 50 amp circuit breaker in the panel. -There is manual interlock kit installed so generator serves whole house

Not sure what it all means. To clarify, the voltage reading on power meter is ~120 volts all the time. Does it mean wattage I see is half of actual? The generator screen shows 240 v. How can turning on a ceiling fan can reduce total watts? And this is the only one appliance that does it.

I buy regular gas at brand name gas stations only. Add marine Stabil in all engines and never had any problem. Even when some equipment not in use over a year

Thank you all for your help! I decided to give it a try and placed the order. Next gen maintenance run I'll test it turning on and off appliances one by one and make a list of wattage/amps. After that I don't need this device to be connected all the time

I was watching my counter installed by PPL. It's one of those remote controlled showing different values, incl. kwh, kw, etc. Kw value is cumulative so every night it shows max for a day. Next day it starts over. For a week with AC on never above 5200-5600 w. Wondering if this meter catches...

Yes, my plan is to use an enclosure. But still worry about 10 awg cable. And I didn't like seller reply about short length/low resistance good for 50A

Generator cable is 6 awg. I know things like electric water heater is no go
