Thinking of making my backhoe attachment towable and usable OFF the tractor!

Have you heard of "ground protection mats " ? 4 or 6 of those, depending on the wheelbase of your tractor you could go in soff ground you just have keep moving them as you go. Or get enough to make a path.

Shoveling out a dump trailer - really!

Try a long tie down strap like the tractor trailers use. Lay it down flat in the center, hooked on the back, leave the end hanging over the front. then dump mulch on top. If the mulch hangs up pull on the strap to break it up and pull it down.

    Bucket/boom cylinder packing

I didn't know you could have a rod made. I'll look into it. For now it's back together so I can do some work around here. It it's probably going to ruin the seals right up

    Bucket/boom cylinder packing

Im working on it today. This is what I think caused the leak. What should I do just sand ti a little to get rid of the sharp edges?

    Bucket/boom cylinder packing

Yeah, some of them can be tough. Few years ago I did a Case 680 backhoe boom cylinder that one had to put some heat to it if I remember right and a 8' pipe.

    Bucket/boom cylinder packing

I would like something like a gland nut wrench that would catch both holes for a better grip but I can't find it.

    Bucket/boom cylinder packing

One of my bucket cylinders on the Kubota L48 started leaking and I'm having a tough time finding a wrench to take out the gland nut. All the ones I see are for face holes on the gland nut, my holes are 1/4" and.on the outside of the gland nut. Any ideas?

    Transporting boulders

Haven't read all posts so I don't know if this has been mentioned but how about pallets? They are light and would use up space. Put them under and cut some in half and pack them around the bolders. Maybe some on top too to hold the chains steady.
