Have you heard of "ground protection mats " ? 4 or 6 of those, depending on the wheelbase of your tractor you could go in soff ground you just have keep moving them as you go. Or get enough to make a path.
Try a long tie down strap like the tractor trailers use. Lay it down flat in the center, hooked on the back, leave the end hanging over the front. then dump mulch on top. If the mulch hangs up pull on the strap to break it up and pull it down.
I didn't know you could have a rod made. I'll look into it. For now it's back together so I can do some work around here. It it's probably going to ruin the seals right up
Yeah, some of them can be tough. Few years ago I did a Case 680 backhoe boom cylinder that one had to put some heat to it if I remember right and a 8' pipe.
One of my bucket cylinders on the Kubota L48 started leaking and I'm having a tough time finding a wrench to take out the gland nut. All the ones I see are for face holes on the gland nut, my holes are 1/4" and.on the outside of the gland nut. Any ideas?
Haven't read all posts so I don't know if this has been mentioned but how about pallets? They are light and would use up space. Put them under and cut some in half and pack them around the bolders. Maybe some on top too to hold the chains steady.
I can't find any info on a Case 750 with a 267ci diesel engine. I'm going to say it is late 60's early 70's vintage. I need fuel filters for now but I like to find more information on on it.
The arms go up when I start it and rev it up around 1500rpms and won't go down until I slow it or turn it off, foes down really slow, doesn't matter where the control lever is. How many gallons of hydraulic do I need to do a change?
Now I'm wondering what will it be like to tow it with my 04 f350 single rear wheel diesel and my 20', 9950# trailer. I have to tow it @ 70 miles thru expressway and hilly secondary roads. I think it will be the heaviest load I will have towed. I'm thinking I should put the the front and back...
I bought a Kubota L345DT that has one front tire loaded and the other side is not. It is not loaded with a liquid, it's solid and heavy. What I like to find out is what could it be full of, so I could fill the other side. And where can I get it.
I notice I have vines and small trees that are getting really close to my electric lines coming of the road that need to be trimmed. I was thinking about putting on some good rubber boots and rubber gloves and doing it. Anyone have suggestions?
I have a 6 amp charger and I'm thinking about connecting 5 batteries at once either series or parallel and letting it stay for these really cold days. The reason is that i have to move the tractors around time to time to gain assess to thing so i don't want to take batteries out and put...
about 2 months ago I saw a NH on Ebay for sale that had a broken tranny case and engine block. Can't remember the model but it was around 25 to 40 HP. Now I see another NH 40HP with a broken tranny case. I'm sure they are two tractors. Anyone know if this is common on these tractors?
I put 4 gallons of Walmart 90W gear oil in my kubota andfound out that's all I had so I went to Walmart and they were out of 90W so I bought a pail of tranny/hydro fluid. I went to pour some in the tranny but it I thought it was really thin so I stoped.I have 4 gallons of 90W in and need 4 more...
I have a L345DT that leaks gear oil in the clutch. I have drained and slit the tractor. While draining I found a small piece of a gear tip in the oil pan. Now I want to open the transmission to check the gears but can't get the cover in the bellhousing off. Has anyone had a similar problem? Any...
