Great so far! But we've not paid for it and there adding parts to it today so its not in our possession.

Whatever you do leave the camp sign alone. It already looks like it’s been there 50 years. In another post about bar oil you had a typo. Instead of skin cancer you typed ski cancer. I thought to myself they are in big trouble, they do a lot of skiing.

Yes, we are looking for a few acres out of town with or without a camp (house) on it. We hope to have a few trails on it. Here is one we looked at on 40 acres plus a partially built house on it. Looked to not have been worked on in 4 to 10 years and never lived in and construction was DIY mess in many, many ways. The lookout on the roof leaks like a sieve. They must have pulled a camper here to work from. I'll post photos as we look at other locations. We contracted the realtor and not heard back.

Its in pretty rustic shape. Maybe this summer you'll be up to see it before its replacement?

Well folks, it was yet another adventure to get out tonight. We found 5 or so inches of new snow here, while none at home. We hooked up the roller and rolled our way out until the plow strap broke. No big deal, dearest held a light and we got it shortened and retied. Went another 500ft and found a spruce pulled down across the trail which blocked it. Many branches were down on the trail but none worthy of stopping for. Snow here is deeper than in Houghton.

The connection to the outside world is more sporadic this trip. We are dealing with snow on roofs and getting firewood moved in. It's been modesty showing here each day. The resident moose did walk down the forest road in, but not past the camera at the cabin. I did take some night photos of his prints. I am trying to get photos in general for you guys.

With all that snow, what is the moose eating?

While moving a load of firewood to camp an hour ago, we seen our resident moose tracks just ahead of us.
