Tell me about it... spent 30 years working at the newspaper. I'm running out of fire starter and wrapping paper.

We could get newsprint core ends for free. They had about 1/2-1" of newsprint on them. Great for packing boxes, and lasted a long time. 8 years on, and I'm on my last core.

Before I looked like Fish, when I was younger and in the bars, I had a half a dozen people walk to me and say I looked like Barny Miller.

I didn't think I did, but the guy who made me a custom topper for my truck really did look like him.

Last year, at home, in the bed of the pick up truck without thinking, I just jumped off the tailgate onto the cement driveway.

When I hit the cement, I knew I was in trouble. I'm just glad I remembered how to tuck and roll the instant I hit the ground with my feet because I wasn't landing like I expected LOL

I'm there laying on the cement laying on my back looking up at the sky just taking a moment realizing how stupid I was hoping my wife wasn't coming out the door seeing my laying there. Pretty proud of the roll though and still remembered it LOL

2 yrs ago age 70 I was running up cement stairs outdoors with my hands full. I missed clearing the top step and as I launched forward I thought I'll just tuck and roll. Well I aint 25 yrs old anymore... tore a rotator cuff on the landing. Finally healed and I won't forget that lesson soon.
