Dont get me started on walmart batteries. Nearly every late night service call i get on backup generator non starts seem to involve nearly new walmart batteries. Over the phone when i ask how old battery is, its always “its not the battery, thats nearly brand new” i get there, dead wally world battery.
I always have a stock of new DEKA’S on my rig. Thats not the issue. The issue is there more expensive than wally world battery. When i test cold cranking amps on a WORKING wally world batter6 im lucky to find 500 cca. When i test CCA on older working DEKA battery i usually see 650-700 CCA.
Just saying
