Good Tractor Morning,
Ct, 27 to start going to 37. Clear skies this morning, after a miserable day yesterday.

Kathleen was out with friends yesterday afternoon and I decided to go to a park for an activation, yes in the rain, 32 F , with some wind blowing to make it even worse. I lasted 30 minutes before my fingers couldn’t accurately operate my key to send code. I was frozen solid when I was done , and had to sit in my truck until my fingers thawed out to drive. I did have 26 QSO’s in 30 minutes, so a good outing other than freezing my fingers

good morning TBN folk! Its about 22 here in Houghton this am and temps will be dropping today. Regular normal winter forecast for us on the lake shore. Did get the atv ready for use at camp and picked up supplies. Not much excitement happening here.

Good Morning.
It’s a chilly 28° with a clear sky. Forecast high is the middle 30’s, with continued clear.
Yesterday brought about an inch of rain, even.y spaced throughout the day. Was a nice night for a fire.

No major accomplishments, some minor progress in the shop, set up a laser for the wife to make it easy for her to put up wallpaper for youngest son and his wife in our old bedroom. Ironically it was a wall that we stripped the wallpaper from and painted the last time we remodeled the bedroom.
Made a spacer for a cookie cutter in my friend’s bakery, it’s interesting to see the processes for things of that scale.

There will be no projects here today, I’m off to Palm Beach again. Should be a nice day, radar looks clear all along the east coast. I like the schedule of working a day every couple of weeks, keeps me in the loop, but doesn’t seem like a job.

I have the Xtool D7, it does have some TPMS functions, but it’s not a dedicated TPMS tool. It is a bi-directional scanner with data for about every car around the world, it can program keys, and much more, but like any jack of all trades, it does have its limitations.

Know of any that can program BMW/MINI CAS-4 or 4+? My KingBolen Ediag can do many, but the only options I'm finding out there for CAS-4 are all 4-figure$ territory.

I have a 2021 Mini that needs a new key fob, and BMW dealerships charge more than $650/each for them. Only other option I've found is to pull CAS module from car and mail it off with your good keyfob, to unknown entities on eBay, who will program a new fob (without mechanical key ).

Trouble then is, now you've given someone you don't know anything about access to your vehicle, should they find some value in selling that.

Regular normal winter forecast for us on the lake shore.

Nice! 'cept we have another 3 weeks of "autumn" left, according to astronomers and meteorologists!

We've had three snows here, but ground is too warm for it to lay on anything but garden mulch and grass. Some icing on the roads yesterday, but I haven't had to fetch the snow plow out of the shed... yet!

Weird. Link led to "site cannot be reached" error. So I googled them, found a link and tried that... same result!

Will try again later, I know how host server migration can often take sites down for a few minutes or hours, as DNS's re-propagate.
