Good morning!!!!

Poured first cup of coffee. 20° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 28° with mostly cloudy skies.
Got walkways cleaned. Then gpt my old Echo blower out and took air cleaner off. Started it up. Ran like it should. Cleaned air filter with some solvent instead of just blowing it out. After blowing it out. Put every thing back together. It ran as it should. Filter is made from a cloth type material. Must have been plugged with dried oil/gas. Took a string trimmer apart and cleaned and lubed it. Then put fresh string in it. Ready for next spring. That was enough for the day. Have more power tools to work on today.

Everyone stay safe and well.

Good Morning All.

good morning all
I bet my cold ankles would like sitting with Buckeye near that wood stove.

should be a cold sunny day today, with temps dropping tonight into low teens. Brrr.

enjoying my coffee and marvelous super healthy muffin my friend sent me home with yesterday.
Mostly carrots, raisins and nuts with very little sugar. Small but mighty.
need to send this pic to my friend and say thanks. At least my soup was good, that went over well.

off early this morning to dealer to get oil changed in car. Car has about 5k on new tires, wonder if worth getting them rotated.
Dealer will always come up with a laundry list of optional suggested extras.
I'm sure they will remind me of my transfer case leak, and how happy for 2500 bucks they will change out the gasket.
no.
actually we cleaned the drip up last time after they videocamerad it. Curious to see how much more it has leaked in meanwhile.
now that car is in garage will pay attention to any drips on concrete floor.

car drips, I drip...all normal. ;)

Ron, that sounds like satisfying work

Forgot to mention, one of the guys that dad let hunt on our farm passed away on Thanksgiving. A good guy that helped dad a lot, helped us put in hay, he mowed dad’s yard the last several years, up until he couldn’t because of cancer treatment.
RIP Jeff.

Good morning TBN!!
26 this morning (same as L4N!!) Supposed to be sunny in the high 40s today. Might get a little snow on Fri.
Spent the day working on the buggy. Got the garage and floor pan warmed enough to get some paint on spots that will be hidden. Cut and welded the 1" square tube on and the brace for the emergency brake. All in all It went well.
Got the dog out for a longer walk then usual as we haven't been walking as much since the cold is setting in.
Not sure what todays agenda will be. Maybe shuffle some things around later so I can put the buggy on the lift. I need to get under it to finish welding the tube. Maybe not. Have to wait and see how productive I feel.

Time for a second cup
Everyone have a great and safe day!!

most of the Christmas decorations in this area are tasteful.
many folks can afford to hire others to put up lights; there are signs all over
offering xmas decoration installation. Truly a full service economy.

there is one exception and going to have to stop and take a picture.
At the intersection of Aquetong Road (on which I was born) and Stoney Hill Road, on an
otherwise normal looking house on the corner, it's quite a sight.
There must be 500 inflatables on it, perhaps trying for some record. They are all jammed together on every
square foot of his property. it is so out of place, so excessive, so meaningless except for excess.
Christmas should not be about excess...
Ken when you go to Peddlers Village come up River Road and Aquetong and check it out.

There's one other large property about ten miles away near a local quarry that has hundreds of inflatables too, but
they are spread out. That place has been doing it a long time. I bet Engineer knows the place. Near Penns Park off 232.

but I saw this and just knew I had to have this for my front lawn
sent it to my neighbors across the street.
the more I put up, the more that old lady loves it.
but I put the 12 footer away for this winter and have a smaller setup this year out front next to the house.

Though...hmmm, if I put the big one up near my new wood fence, now that the rv isn't
there, it could look over the top of the fence and wave to all the neighbors going by. Plus the house right
there has two kids. Only downside is I have roses on that fence. Roses and inflatables
will not do well together. Sounds like something fun to do later today.

25 heading to 44. Got an inch of rain yesterday. Needed it.

BEF, sorry about Jeff...I guess he was pretty young. How's your dad doing?

L4N, I like your way of ice fishing...that would be a funny sight.

Roasted 3 batches of coffee yesterday and on my last one got an error code...blower fan was below necessary rpm...I thought maybe it was clogged by so much chaff on the third roast due to it being a pulp processed bean, but it needed to be recalibrated...an easy job and now it seems okay. While choosing beans to roast I realized my inventory had gotten very low, so need to place an order soon.

28 outside this AM, heading to mid 40's. Dry day today. Yesterday it was just rain all the way into the city and beyond.

I'll see if I can locate the outside x-Mas lights today, if the real job and farm job time allotment is favorable to Harry homeowner duties.

Hope all have a good day today. Welcome hump-day. Be safe.
