What did you buy this week?

I bought and installed a seat suspension for my JD z530r mower ($180). It looks suspiciously close the system on my JD 855 tractor, which is fine because that seems to work great. I'm impressed. Made in USA, too!

I didn't buy a suspension seat ($700), since I like the JD seat but I needed something to smooth out the bumpy mowing. Install went okay - no drilling - just swap the adjuster tracks and use the 3/4" bushings. Adjusted the tension for my 215lbs and seems to cushion well. Haven't mowed yet. May try today on the leaves.

I bought a battery power supply. I didn't really need it, but next week I have a vendor booth at a trade show in Baton Rouge at the Hilton.

When I do trade shows, I bring my laptop and a TV to show videos of my work.

Well....the Hilton wants $110 per day to provide a power strip to run my tv and laptop. I'm sorry, but I'm not paying that much per day. I run my whole house for about $130 for a whole month!

So, I ran to Home Depot and picked this up. I will bring it to my hotel room and recharge it at night. Hopefully it will last a full day with my laptop and 32" tv.

I put one of those on my Cub Cadet zero turn. Was a nice improvement.

Put the same one in my MX Kubota (y)

I bought a suspension seat several years ago, it came with a John Deere tractor under it. The suspension seat on my 2025r is a low dollar one but it sure helps.

I keep looking at a new air suspension for a couple of my tractors, I'm a big boy and I exceed most of the spring suspensions and some of the air ones.

My big purchase this week was some tires.
Well got my new studded Nokian Hakkapeliitta LT3 snow tires mounted on my new rims, got the tires yesterday the rims a month or so back and TPMS sensors a week ago.

An expensive little package, tires $1432, wheels $900, TPMS sensor $190 and shinny center caps $70.
But she's ready for winter for the next 2-3 years at least. I hope.
Hopefully this purchase will hold Ol' man winter off a few more weeks :)

There is something, I think called Butt Burrito, that is like an airbag you stick under a suspension seat to firm it up.

Looks good Lou. Glad to see someone else appreciates an 8' bed.
