Back in the day when I was driving Amphibs around the Pacific the Marines had a great vehicle called the Gama Goat (M-561) six-wheel drive, built-in trailer with articulated hitch/driveshaft, amphibious, climb darn near everything. My Master Chief and I were always going to paint one of them gray in hopes the Marines would ignore that one when the offloaded. It had American parts and I think there are still some around. Check out: GamaGoat

Hi, I'm wondering if these small trucks are not allowed on the road then why is motorcycles and dune buggys are allowed? Most dune buggys don't have air bags or etc.

Thanks, Terry.

I know that this is a serious necropost, but just to clear it up for future readers - Haflingers are, indeed, legal for road use in most states. Generally not highway use, just regular roads.

Heck, mine has even been registered in California, and they're one of the hardest states to get things like this road legal.
