Please find another dealer that is not trying to scam you.

Highly unlikely that you need a new pump, but even if you did, that's like around $1300 or so. Kubota L3901HST (4WD TRA W/HYD TRANS/FOLD ROPS) Parts Diagrams
I wish it was as simple as that. do some checking and get back to me. If you can find a better price please let me know. I am patiently awaiting your info...
It IS as simple as that. Either you have misplaced a zero, or your dealer did.

Diagnosing the cause of low power hydraulics is pretty easily done on a stock tractor. There are standard places to check flow and pressure. Repairs might cost a couple of thousand and for that you would know exactly what to expect.

But first you need to see a mechanic's shop report showing the pressures and flow rates at the standard check points along with his best estimate.

Maybe it's Hong Kong dollars.

In Missouri we say "Show Me!"

As a kid growing up in Vermont we use to say "try it, you may like it" ...

Either way I've found it's the best way to learn!
SW Mo here as well!

I'd rather not say what the problem turned out to be.

You’re probably not the only one that will make that mistake, whatever it might be.

It’s generally helpful if a poster explains his mistake because it might help others in the future who are experiencing a similar problem and find this thread.

I had the same problem once. Turned out that I had put my backhoe outriggers down before I tried to lift the front of the tractor with the bucket. Puzzled me until I realized my mistake! My loader wasn’t strong enough to lift the entire tractor off the ground!

I believe from "hints" that once he put the bucket back on ... That it lifted just fine ...

Like this . . .

Shawn, you could be right. Could be that the geometry is such with the bucket off that whatever remains attached to the loader arms wasn’t even touching the ground!

I missed the point that the bucket was off…🥴

OP… You are guilty as charged unless you come back to court and defend yourself! 😂😂😂

Him being a lawyer ... He will probably appeal ... And it will get tied up in the "system" till after we are all too old to even remember what this was about! 😂

Just glad it was a "simple fix"! :)
