Rerouted the exhaust with a 17/8 45 degree elbow, moved the light switch to where I didn't turn on the signal lights every time I got on or off the tractor, added a rubber handle grip to the parking brake handle. The only thing I lack is drilling an extra 1 3/16 hole in the draw bar to give another option on the length. I forgot to mention add chain hooks to the bucket.

I like the chain hook installation. Not familiar with the 4540 so can't figure out where the exhaust is exiting.....

The chain hooks install consist of a 1/4 inch plate on the top and the bottom of the bucket lip. The lip seems to be 2 plates 3/16 with an 1 1/2 space between them. The eye bolt is a 1/2 inch with a 2200lb rating. I have a similar set on another tractor and only have broke 1 eye bolt in 15 years. The exhaust originally exited from the right rear of the hood aimed directly at the loader hoses. I routed it forward and down in front of the right rear loader mount. I still get a little bit of fumes at higher RPMs so I may have to fashion something to turn it down towards the ground more.

Thanks for the reply. I have the perspective now to understand the exhaust photo.....

I think I am going to like this tractor. One thing I'm a little concerned about is if I need a warranty repair. My local Mahindra dealer is less than 10 miles from me but because he didn't have the model I wanted to purchase I traveled about 60 miles to the next nearest dealer to purchase it. I'm concerned they will want me to transport the tractor that 60 miles for warranty service rather than the less than 10 miles. Hopefully not. Never thought about that till after I bought the tractor.

I would hope the local dealer would take care of your service. They would make more doing long term service for you then what they probably would make on a one time sale.
