storm coming up the coast
seems a day late

had to laugh early this morning neighbor in campground says his civil defense alert kept going off,
impending one foot something, but due to tides and harvest moon, will mean some water on the roads in places.
Well his wife misunderstood and thought one foot waves were coming in the rv campground.
He said he had to calm her down

did someone say something about if it doesn't say tractor in our post it counts for less?
well, i'll just be tractoring along then

Kyle, I thought one of your classes could build one of these.
that Lucid stock can run low 9's and technically is fast enough to require a roll cage and parachute.
for a standard showroom car, 1200hp

once you get over 300hp, just becomes automotive theatre

MT 09 19 25 LUCID AIR SAPHIRE 30
Luckily, there’s a 350-kilowatt Electrify America charging station right across the street, and I plug in next to a fellow racer. I’m not the first to bring an EV to Drag Week, but the 2025 running is the first Drag Week to host multiple EVs. The others are undeniably cooler than the Lucid. At the charger next to us is Paul Mangelsdorf’s ratty 1940 Chevrolet Business Coupe. It’s powered by a Tesla motor, two Chevrolet Volt battery packs, and a Bolt battery management system that he magicked into working together. Jamieson DuRette, who must be the coolest teacher in Harford County, Maryland, installed a pair of forklift motors in series under the hood of his flat-black 1968 Chevy El Camino, backed by two Gear Vendors overdrive units that form a de facto four-speed transmission; they draw juice from a battery pack of his own construction using LG cells.

Good (Sunday) morning. Overnight Low of 3.4C and it's presently 8.1C [heading to 15C], mostly cloudy & CALM! (y) Rain is predicted later on.

I'm off to Church in a few minutes and then the rest of the day is His.

That's about it, take care all.
substitute for scallops these days and I'm not sure what the restaurant was using.
Tassie is known for scallops = festivals and all that. We even put them in pies.

You know that they're 'real' as the orange roe is left on.

Camping update
Went to a local diner tonight for supper. Sure is cool out. Decided not to do a campfire tonight, as the one last night smoked so bad and blew at the camper, decided didn’t want to smell like smoke after a shower. Have propane lantern on.
Wonder some of these kids haven’t been ran over, playing in road unsupervised.
Think the nor’easter hits here tomorrow night. I grilled extra at lunch that we can heat up inside.

I called Harvey before you posted. I thought he was the one who made them. He confirmed what I thought. I should have waited for a reply here. Thanks.
He just got in from operating his Skid Steer. And was feeling like he should not have done that.
How come he dos'nt post anymore?

Got those 3 sides finished up on those incomplete posts and 3 additional sides as well before heading out to the birthday party.

Good crowd, good company and good food catered by a local restaurant.

Borrowed a 18” x 3/8” drill bit from our host.

Moved 4 completed and dried posts around back with the Kubota when we got back home.

Was almost 18:00 at that point, mostly cloudy, and cool so decided to forego any more work outside until tomorrow.

Finishing up mixing up another 6 gallons of glyphosate premix, then some additional cleaning and straightening up in the garage before hitting the rack.

Good evening all. 56ºF for the start, mostly clear sky, light breeze. Light wind mostly clear sky, and high temp was 88ºF. Made coffee to start morning, bike ride was 71 miles, got done at 3PM, nibbled at lunch, napped, dinner at Mexican place. Slower on posting so not as much catch up accomplished. I am disappointed with post count reduction and resulting reduction in rank. Nuff said. If any one knows where Dennis(BEF) went, feel free to PM me. Hope to make serious catch up tomorrow.

Coffee has been poured. 41° with partly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 69° with partly cloudy skies. Got garden pond net on yesterday. That was enough for the day. Spent rest of the day conserving energy.
First tree with full fall color on my place. Lots of green leaves have already fallen.

Prayers and best wishes for everyone.

Good Morning All.

62 and light rain, going to 63, and more rain.

Happy, hope nothing else breaks today.

Kyle, real smart repair job on your water line.

Ron, beautiful tree. I sure wish they could hold that color for a bit longer in the fall, like the beech trees do.

Yesterday was another early hike/swim day to get Della exercised since we went back to the Folk Festival for most of the day and evening...more good music...blues, reggae, Hawaiian, R&B, and Hopi.

Good Tractor Morning 😉,
Scored both senior flu and covid shots yesterday.
David, Katheen and I did the same thing on Wednesday morning. Arm hurt the next day and I felt lousy to boot 😉
Thank you Muhammad! Hope you can get my post count back to where it was.
Thanks Kyle, took the words out of my mouth 😉

Good morning, the low is 48 and going to a high of 66°F. Wind ENE 7 mph. Sunny!

Of all the trees I have here, I think there are only about 5 of them with leaves, the rest are pine and tamarack.

Nothing planned for today, another rabbit hole day.

Have a safe day all

Good Tractor Morning 😉,
Ct, 53 to start going to 60 with rain coming in around noon time according to my Accuweather forecast.

We had a good time with the grands at the farm festival yesterday. We bought ice cream for the kids but the bees 🐝 were swarming around the ice cream shack something terrible. We were worried one of the kids would get stung so we walked through all the crafts booths to get away.

I guess the big news here is that I was nominated and sponsored by 4 HAM operators in the CW community to become a member of CWT CWOPS. This is an organization that promotes CW, Morse Code, as a means of communication on our frequencies. They have classes and also offer scholarships. The requirements to be nominated and sponsored is that you need to be able to send and receive a minimum of 25wpm and have contacted these sponsors a number of times at that speed. I was able to accomplish this with POTA, Parks on the Air. My nominator and sponsors are all members of POTA. I am very proud to be in this organization.

Yesterday I ran the generator for a few minutes, in anticipation of the Nor Easter that’s coming in later today. I also mowed the lawn with my Tractor, oops sorry Zero Turn 😉😂 Mowed kind of low, and waiting for that first good frost. We had a light frost on Thursday morning but not a hard frost yet.

Need to get ready for church, so hope all have a blessed day 🙏

Good morning! 66˚F heading to the mid 90s, no rain in the forecast, just sunny skies. Can't remember the last time it rained.

The "Farm" is getting very dusty. I take my EGO leaf blower in the morning and blow all the dust off the trailer and create a huge dust cloud. We had 2,000+ guest yesterday, twice as many as last weekend.

After 10AM the tractor ride became busy with 25-30 people waiting in line when I drove up and then another 25-30 get in line when they see us loading so almost all the trailers were with a full load and about 10 times had to leave people behind (more than 60 people). Everyone was patient and happy, Fall Festival is in full swing. As long as the guest do not have to wait more than 20 minutes we will only run one tractor/trailer. The longest wait was 10 minutes.

Drew, that was me that suggested that if your post didn't say something about tractor the bot disqualifies your post as tractor related.
No sign of the Kioti yet, but also no sign of the invoice either.
hmmmm
maybe if we add 🚜
wonder if that would work
let's see how smart those AI bots are...

time for shower and shave, memorial for a distant family member at church right down the street in Solebury.
Stepmother's side, second marriage of two widows, wonderful marriage for both, got a new family as a plus.
this is eldest of the other side, last of their gen, guy was over 100.

looks like a cloudy cool day with more rain later tonight.
need to clean out rv fridge, went grrrr this morning when I realized half and half was outside.
then a lot more cleaning inside, again, putting it away for season.

interestingly my friends who own the brand new Venture Sonic travel trailer said they'd be glad to let
me use it. After 60 years of friendship, they know i'll keep it nice

a good Sunday morning to all
Scotty, congrats and enjoy
Ron, gorgeous tree, maples turning here
