You Know You Are Old When

Last time I tried to jump across a shallow, about 40 years ago, I had to have knee surgery for torn ligaments. From that point on it has only been SHORT hops.

Going away on a company trip to a resort down south outside the country Thursday morning.

Wife informed me that I'm not taking my favorite brown slacks because they are so old and I look like a bum in them, and they should not be worn to a nice restaurant with other people I know.

I'm old enough that I'm starting to agree with her LOL

I'm sorry to hear that, but my mom passed when I was 27 and my dad when I was 34.... I've known my in-laws longer than I knew my own parents.

I tell my kids that people come and go in your life. Some mean more to you than you mean to them and vice versa. You can know someone your whole life and they may never have a bigger impact on you than someone you only knew for a short while. So treasure those folks that you hold dear, as you never know when they might be gone. And remember them fondly should they go.
