Been fighting the urge to buy another Farmertec 2511 and just setting back or to give as a gift some day.

Wish I could just get the 4 pack like dealers do. 😁

Installed new NGK plug today and adjusted high speed jet to 11800-12000 rpm. Tried it out on a 6" chunk of pine, zipped threw like butter. Next was a 6" piece of seasoned ash, obviously slower than pine but was pleasantly surprised by speed of cut. This thing is a powerhouse considering size of package. Compared it to another 25cc. china top handle saw I have with name Hoteche. 1.9 lbs. heavier than the 2511 and nowhere near the power. 1 suprise, have a 3" PVC pipe mounted on tractor for a saw holder. Stihl MS170 there now, have had the Hoteche top handle and a Husky 142 in pipe before to. All those fit easily. the 2511 will not go in pipe. Apparently, the bar is just a little wider than the rest. All the other saws are 3/8 l.p. and either .043 or .050 gauge so same chain. Bought the Joncutter just for that purpose but it just won't fit without going to bigger pipe. Regardless, this saw is a keeper. For $99 not sure you can do better.

A 70' oak blew down at my friends cabin. It was a good opportunity to get some hours on my Joncutter. My fiend was going to meet e out there, but by the time he got there, I was about 2/3 done. He has a Stihl MS361. This saw continues to impress!

You can use a heat gun to soften your PVC pipe and widen it a little, but then your other saws might fit a little looser.

Your other 25cc look like this? Those are a older design Zenoah did way back.

Those were the first 25cc clones and like you said much heavier. Zenoah 2500 aka also done in many other names 2500.

Was so glad to see them do the 25cc clones from echo 2511 instead. Much better saw then the rest.

Saw looks great. Very little if any flashing on the plastic parts. Carb was tuned really well for 50:1. Air filter is a little loose… I’ll see if the OEM throat plate helps. Spark plug came out easy enough.

One issue. Out of the box the chain oiler was extremely excessive. So, I attempted to turn it down… now it barely oils at all. Turn it up, no change. The adjustment screw has a spring on it, you can push it down with a screwdriver 1/4ā€ and it springs up. Not sure of it should do that.

Done fiddling with it tonight… but it doesn’t matter what I do with the oiler adjustment, it doesn’t change the quantity of oil at this point.

I use 40-1 Red Armor in all my 2 cycle equipment. I'll have to check my oiler output. It seems to have a little left when I run out of gas. Since I bought the saw, we keep having storms and downed trees, I'm not sure if that is good or bad Karma.

Have you had yours in the cut yet?

Here’s a post I did a while back with my original Zenoah RedMax from 2003. Back then Zenoah was owned by Komastu, the heavy equipment company. They used the RedMax name for the US but the rest of the world got the Zenoah brand name. At the time the G2500 was the lightest saw in the world.
They sold Zenoah to Husqvarna who promptly built a new $23 million factory in China and closed down the Japanese operations. Husky put their stickers on the G2500 for a while as xyz123’s photo shows.
