I have access to composted manure and can cover crop it with buckwheat

I'm north of them. We didn't get any of the heavy rain. I went to Bloomington the other day to pick up a trailer load of lumber and had to dodge storms the whole way home. They have been getting a ton of rain this weekend

The family-owned parent company of the newspaper I used to work for also owned the papers in Martinsville, Bedford and Bloomington, so I spent some time in the area. Wife and I also enjoy the state parks down there. The new I69 interchange at 465 makes the trips a lot faster, now.

Did my first foliar feeding of the pumpkins this morning. Sure makes it easier to hit 260(ish) vines. Took about 2 gallons in all. They recommend a once per week feeding.

That's a lot of punkins... I similarly use a spot and spray tank, on my mule with a water soluble fert for most of my stuff.
Just harvested 3 watermelons. 2 sweety pie and 1 crimson sweet. This is our first year growing sweety pie so hoping they turn out to be a good choice. Put a sweety pie in the fridge probably gonna cut it tomorrow or Friday.
