Morning all, 73 going up to 90 and sunny.
Graduation Day!

Ends up that one of wife's friends kids is also going to NYU, so son will know a few people there.

Took the trimmer for a walk last night after cleaning up more of the hedge detritus.
Found a large chunk of tree where I had been mowing the day before. Must have fallen pretty far since I can't see where it came from with all the leaves.

Phil - I had a similar CB, long gone now. I had a huge grey multi frequency short band receiver too at one time, not sure what happened to it.

Sorry about the Alpacas Paul. Getting any more to replace or ??

I get that all the time M7040, people leaving tracks and it takes time to fix them. Have a bunch to fix once I let the new asphalt finish hardening.

Hope not too much damage Tinhack and the storm passes quickly.

Meeting with new boss went very well, she is putting me on two more projects and going to the CIO to propose going forward with the two projects I am currently running.

Be well,

5 foot chunk of tree right at the edge of where I mowed the day before.

Good morning again from Kauai. We had a beautiful day yesterday, sailing, swimming and snorkeling along the Napoli coast. We spread the last of my mother-in-laws ashes along the voyage.

I also had to cancel my primary credit cards yesterday and swap to our backup accounts. It seems someone here in Hawaii liked our credit card as much as we do. I give Wells Fargo credit for their fraud detection and prevention abilities. It seems this is just becoming more and more common. I travel regularly for work and end up having to cancel a credit card at least once a year.

83F and sunny @ 11:15, calling for a high of 85F for the day. I suspect we may beat that. Chance of rain 1%.

Ten Day shows an entire week of rain starting Saturday ...

Started off with leftover coffee this morning, requested upgrade ... the fresh stuff is much better ... :giggle:

Got hopper, both tube and both suet feeders refilled yesterday first thing. Also scattered some seed for the ground feeders.

Woman reports the Pileated Woodpecker was out on the suet feeders this morning.

Got six Trip L Crop tomato plants planted yesterday after filling the feeders before it got too warm. The last two took a bit, as it was two plants in the same pot and it took some effort and finesse to separate the root systems from each other.

Broccoli plants seem to be coming back after getting nipped right after they were planted.

After that I went back to coating 4 x 4 posts after moving the hay wagon into the shade. Got another 10 sides done.

Tended a slab of ribs Woman had thrown into the crock pot.

Sent 5 tomato plants up to a neighbor with The Woman.

Late in the day I started mowing the upper front where is was fairly dry. Mowed until the Sun set, around 21:00 ... probably got it just under half done. Had deck set to 4". Blades still cutting good.

Agenda for today:

Schedule insurance bill for payment.

Move rest of tomato plants out front to shelves around back. Need to check greenhouse in the dining room, probably some in there that can go as well.

Then water tomato plants on shelves.

Do some glyphosate spraying since winds and chances of rain are both supposed to be low.

Start mowing down here around the house where it needs it, will leave the rest of the front until late in the day to give it chance to dry up further.

Later this afternoon cloud cover will increase to around 70% and I'll take that opportunity to get some more plants in the ground.

At some point in there hope to get back to coating more posts.

Other that see what else comes up.

Hope everyone is having a decent Thursday ... (y)

ugh, credit cards. Hope not too much paperwork.

I just got an email from ezpass yesterday saying I added a car/plate to my account.
Thought it was a scam so went directly to ezpass, loged in , got my text code for the authentication. Sure enough there is a new car/plate on my account.

I deleted it and sent an email to ezpass asking how this could happen.
Changed my password first, but only I have my phone, so unsure how someone could have logged in as me. Glad I have notifications.

Have fun in Hawaii, I'll get there someday.

68°f and .06 inches rain

Impressed with the new carpet machine. Does excellent job extracting the water.

Afternoon didn’t get off to great start. One furry little girl managed to get diarrhea before we even got to the PO. Fortunately had some paper towels and able get her cleaned up and continue to Vet. gained 6.4 lbs, 26.2lb. Vet happy with her growth and development

Could say she told riding up front in stride.

Amazing how tenaciously some thing attach when dried a few hours. But power washer won, eventually.

Plan to pw concrete in front of house today.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Instead of mowing looked at replacing the sill beam. Took the old one out and fitted a new one. Tight fit that required the sledge to drive it in. Need to investigate some suitable grout and screw it in place with ledger screws after some more adjustments
