Hey all my name is William and I'm new here. I bought this tractor last spring for my small farm. Other than typical farming stuff I've mostly been doing some logging for my sawmill side gig. But at this time I have an oven on wheels. My compressor clutch is not turning/engaging and the blower motor is not responding. I checked fuses, and 4-tab blower motor relay which seemed fine. I replaced two 10-tab identical relays which were one the side panel. One was clacking/clicking/squalling/chattering when the blower fan switch was in the off position and the key turned on but stopped when fan speed control knob was turned to any of the speed settings. The ac button light would also only come on when the fan speed control knob was in the off position and key turned on but would go off when knob was turned to other settings. I checked all wiring but didn't see anything that seemed bad. The compressor clutch never engaged at all while engine was running. I do hear a thump/click sound inside of the blower fan/motor enclosure. I dismantled the ac speed control knob and cleaned all of the contacts. Didn't see any damage there. No smell of burning wires etc. My guess is that the whole HVAC control unit will need to be replaced since both quit at the same time? That's $380+ just for the part, which I can replace myself. Any thoughts before I buy that? Any place other than a dealership I can buy the ac control unit/panel less expensive? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

On my 2010 dk45 the ac unit completely died a few weeks ago. Found a burnt out 25 amp fuse in cabin fuse box. Replaced fuse, blew again about an hour later. When this fuse blows, everything in ac/ heat system fails. I took out fuse and found non powered side of fuse grounded out. I raised hood and disconnected wiring harness on ac unit, wire still grounded out.

I removed all interior trim on drivers left side of cabin and reran a new wire from fuse box up to ac unit. This solved the fan not running issue, but now the ac compressor would not run. Looking at wiring diagram a found that the wire running up to ac unit splits off to a wire that runs to the pressure switch out by compressor. So i stripped the wiring bundle until i found the splice. I respliced this into the new wire i ran to ac unit.

Now, everything runs like new again.

Your unit is a bit older than mine, but does it have this fuse box in cab? Behind seat on drivers left side.

Bra you were cool to splice that wiring harness. It is now better than a brand new one. I have a Kubota 4330 that seems like it builds up high pressure and makes the belt slip. Radiator is really clean. Any ideas please tell me. I am not a refrigerator expert.

Thank you for the reply Mike. Yes it has the fuse box. No fuses were blown. I checked those and the fuses on right side of dash. Right now I would love a blown fuse because then it would make sense to me and give me something to look for.

when you say everything in ac heat system quit did that also include the compressor clutch?

Yes, the compressor clutch as well.

Theres a large orange wire with a yellow stripe, maybe a 10g wire running from fuse box up the column to roof ac unit. About a third way up that column, the large wire was spliced by a super tiny, maybe 20guage orange with yellow stripe wire that went under the tractor body all the way to the pressure switch near the fuel rail in engine compartment. A return wire from this switch followed path under tractor, into cab and up to the roof ac unit.

Right now it doesnt seem that this small wire was the issue, so i have not replaced it yet. I did insulate the area where it leaves the cab though in case it was rubbing and shorting the circuit.

But my 25 amp ac fuse was constantly blowing. You can follow the large wire from the fuse box up to the ac unit in roof and unplug the wire harness and see if your getting 12vdc on the large orange wire with yellow stripe.
