Nice wood 4570, looks like 800-900 BSF? What's the planned use or is this for "future projects"?

We had several black walnuts in PA on the farm - 18-24' straight logs x 24-30" at the butt - in 1970 sold them for like $800 a tree - but timber prices have dropped for walnut, cherry and veneer lumber in the last 10-15 years.

Went to Costco earlier today.
Intention was probably aboot $4-50.
Ended up over $400.
That place sucks money out of my pockets like a large commercial vacuum.
Other than groceries and some bits and bobs their is nothing to get excited aboot.
Wife and i went out to eat, then she wanted to hit costco for 5 items. Full basket later and $285 less in wallet. Im not sure she got the 5 items she needed.

We measured it to be 420 bf although we measured the 6/4 boards as 1” so the count is a little higher. It’s for “future projects” as in probably laying around in the way.

I went there for a couple bags of pistachios and came home with two TVs :ROFLMAO:

My dad and I cut down a bunch of black walnut and had it sawed & dried. We then put it down on the entire first floor of our home. Looked amazing. Did the dowel pegs, too.

Neighbour down the road is moving next month so selling darn near everything to reduce moving costs. Picked up a lawn tractor lift in excellent shape. Will be used to weekly to lift the mower up so scrape the underside instead of taking the deck off to flip it over, or firing up the tractor to lift it up.

Now he has to send Massey, Simplicity and IH
a Dear John...I mean a John Deere letter!

The Massey and the JD are sleeping peacefully together :)
Know anyone who wants to beat up Simplicity Regents?

Gas cap for the Stihl and a primer bulb for the Jonsered chainsaws.

What in the world will you do with 32k sq ft of plywood?

I’m a builder so we’ll use it on construction jobs. One of my friends is supposed to be coming to get 4 bundles so I won’t have to store it as long.

Month or so ago bought a new to me 5 speed beater. To replace my old daily driver that made it's final trip Told my wife yrs ago when I bought it at a auction I was going to drive the wheels off that old car, after the front driver side wheel bearing blew completely apart fusing the bearings race to the cv axle. I literally did I guess. Lol still, car ran great so I was going to replace all four wheel bearings cuz the other three were starting to go, put a jack under the unibodies frame rail and it pushed up thru the floor boards not to mention extensive rust perforations throughout the sub frame. I think got my moneys worth on that junker. Hopefully I'll get the same with my new beater. So far so good and less rust presently.

I’m all about having a beater
For daily running around too. My 1999Diesel E300 has 287k miles, known as “Old Smokey” I joke that it’s just getting broken in. I’ve driven several cars up to the point of scrapping them.
