Front PTO / 3 point hitch installation

has anyone added a Zuidberg front PTO and 3 point hitch system?

how much did it cost for labor to install?

Those are not very common in the US, specially in the smaller tractors, so I don't think you'll get any answers.

Around here, I believe it's about €2000 to €2500 for a front 3pt + PTO on a compact tractor.

That was with the kit installed and ready to work. It was a couple of years ago when I checked that too, so that most likely changed.

Only 'domestically' sold unit I know of with a front PTO and 3PH is a JCB Fastrak. Not a compact tractor either. They have 4 wheel independent suspension as well. and I believe a 45-50 mph ground speed.

Fendt might have one here as well.

Just because they are produced for "small tractors"

I never have seen one in person, and don't know how the front pto would be fitted.

It's easy for me just to stick with the Allied front loader ;-)
But there are times when a front snow blower or sweep broom would come in handy.

I could be wrong, but I believe that Lesnik doesn't actually offer a front PTO to go with the 3pt hitch.

from the on-line literature, I would agree. No US of A dealers that I can tell either. Product of Slovenia.

One of these could be a flexible option.

Zuidberg makes a front PTO and 3 point kit. I know the parts cost however I was trying to get a idea of the labor cost to install it.

I do not own a SS and can't imagine how much more difficult, a flail mower or bush hog or forestry mulcher will be in reverse hour after hour after hour. Zuidberg front PTO looks solid- and theycompany makes OEM parts for leading mfgs. did you get it?

That's surely less than an equal year Grand L would go for around here. Crazy. Are the prices on compact tractors that bad, or is it the depreciation of larger machines?

I really can only guess. That's a small utility tractor for the majority of farms and a loader would be a more common attachment for the front.
I actually found quite a few front pto/3pt in this issue. As usual the bigger Deere and Fendt $250k used machines, then quite a few 4000 series JD that appear to be Canadian residential snow blowing machines that have been traded. Probably from a bigger contractor rolling his fleet over. Some had a blower included on the front. At least in the picture.
I'd love to have that tractor, but it would have to have a loader as well.

The price on that M5-111 is pretty sharp. A new cabbed 4wd L6060 is $54K, whereas a cabbed 4wd M5-111 is $79K. I suspect that the M5-111 that @Rustyiron posted will not last long. Compact tractors also hold their value very well.

Let us know! Spent hours backing into heavy vines and am convinced a front pot driven mulcher/flail would be much better.

^^^^ this thread started back in May and sounded like the op was putting together a tractor with a front 3pt & pto.
My posts were simply showing a tractor currently for sale with one.
I'd love one myself one day.
Hopefully he'll follow up if he finds one.
