The JD. 850 is the same motor as the YM2500. Refurbished YM2500 from Fredrick's Yrs. ago. I knew this at the beginning of this Thread. Yanmar USA. is in Ga. only a few miles from me. Daily Posts

Are you saying that you have a YM2500 from Fredricks? If so, what part number air filter do you use and where do you get it from?

I’ve been a member here on TBN since 2004 or 2005. The first tractor I bought was a 1949 Ford 8N with my high school graduation money in 2002. My first diesel tractor was a 1997 Mahindra 485 D.I. Then a Yanmar YM2000, a YM2500, a Massey Ferguson 231, and now another YM2500. The Massey has been my favorite by far.
