After Medicare now when I see the doctor they want to see if I can draw a clock and memorize three words.

There are a lot of things you only do when very young and very old, from which you can refrain the 80 years in-between. Daipers come to mind, but needing help with child-proof pill bottles and having someone drive you everywhere are two others. Poor balance is another.

You had to draw the whole clock? I only had to draw the face! My clock came out ok but could only get 2 of the 3.

I still have a kindergarten crayon sketch I did of a drum major high step marching. It came out great and still brings squeals of joy from those who admire it. I'm thinking $55 million?

I was the rare bird who could drink heavily, and never experienced a hangover... until sometime in my mid-40's. But all good things must come to an end, my "older drinking days" have been rougher than my "younger drinking days".

My wife was the same way, Drank like a villain when she was young and quit because the hangovers when in her forties. I never minded a hangover much. It was a sort of badge of honor working through it. We were usually well enough in the afternoon to start again.

You know you are old when you have to unwrap a strap wound around the mower blades and your first thought is, how am I'm going to get back up. 2nd thought is do I have everything I will need so I won't have to get back up a second time.
