This one is a very close for 2nd place. Not only does this guy tow wrong running a red light, after the dash cam goes thru the light look to the RIGHT SIDE afterwards !

I had a buddy do similar just after he got a motorcycle.

Except he was showing off for some girls and ran into a truck parked on the street in front of a bar.

Knocked himself smooth out.

Worst part was the owner of the truck came out pretty tipsy and drove home.

Buddy came too, still in the back of the truck, except now he's in a neighborhood parked under a carport

I got a call about 3am to come pick him up at this gas station at the entrance to the neighborhood.

We found his bike still on the ground where he hit the truck

I informed him he might ought to sell the bike and stick to 4 wheels

Hauling wrong, a different approach. What an adventure!

Guy who posted this said they are about to come out of a slow side slough, into the fast-moving and choppy Sacramento Deepwater Channel (for ocean vessels) that goes down from Port of Sacramento (70 miles inland) to SF Bay.

With no propulsion to dodge the ocean-going ships they will encounter.

Suppose they will make it out the Golden Gate into the Pacific Ocean? Maybe they'll make the evening news! :p

Illegals going home? Maybe they figured out who the bigger dog was between Trump & Newsom & decided that IBC tote arbitrage might be the best they can hope for at this time.

Modern Huckleberry Finn ? Guess they thought this was a river?
Guess we will be reading about another Coast Guard rescue.

Those comments I linked about the IBC raft suggested "Tweaker (non) Reasoning". That sounds about right.

The raft crew reminded me of a hardware store visit where parents were buying a hatchet for each family member down to the smallest in preparation for their first ever camping trip. Parents so high they seemed dancing on tiptoes. Some campground was about to be trashed.

Whoever lunched that raft without any ability to control it, seems like the same sort of reasoning.

I see at least 4 paddels in that photo. Not great control for the size, but something. Plenty of people float down a river with nothing but their appendages. I wouldnt take that down most rivers, but wouldn't be scared about a lake.
