Bad weather makes me spend too much time looking for info on a new tractors.
That said, I like the Solis tractors. I originally wanted a little more HP but after seeing some people actually using them (Thanks YT) for making that easy. I am comfortable with a the H24. Either that one or the Summit branded one. Anyone have any thoughts or opinions on differences between the two brands? From what I see, the distance to a dealer is about a wash for me. I am tentatively looking at one with a BH in either brand.
Thoughts or opinions?

Sonalika (Solis) Tractors holds about 11.7%[7][8] market share of the Indian tractor industry. Sonalika Group owns a 70% stake in the company while Japanese diesel engine manufacturer, Yanmar hold 30% stake stating in 2005 .[9] It was selected for the 'Champions of Change' 2017 programme organized by Niti Aayog.[10]

The H24 you are interested in has a reliable Mitsubishi engine as well. Either diesel engine maker, Mitsubishi or Yanmar are leaders in their engine technology. Long life and long durability.

Mitsubishi acquired Mahindra, Yanmar is teamed up with many brands globally offering engines all over. Finding parts are better found with Yanmar world wide too. TYM bought Kukje, who makes so many diesel engine parts for all the diesel engine makers. Even the RK tractors are TYM, Kukje+Yanmar.

Newer Mahindra machines are now all powered by Mitsubishi. Their diesel engines are great too. Going back to the early 1970s till now, just like Yanmar or Shibaura.

Staying with the stronger well know engine makers gives you peace in knowing parts will still be there some 20 years out or longer.

Mitsubishi acquired Mahindra,
As a Mahindra max 24 owner, I'm aware of the Mitsubishi engine in the tractor but was not aware that Mitsubishi had acquired Mahindra and am unable to find any documentation of the aquisition.

Do you have information regarding Mitsubishi's acquisition of Mahindra?

The Solis S26 has been number 1 seller here in Portugal for like 5 or 6 straight years. First with the 6x2 transmission and later, with even more units sold, with the 9x9 transmission.

Seems to be a good solid tractor and most of the issues seems to be on the front axle on loader tractors. To be honest, who knows what kind of work those owners did.

Thanks for info. Based on the link, it appears Mitsubishi has contracted or formed a relationship with Mahindra Group to produce tractors on its behalf and is not buyout of Mahindra by Mitsubishi. This would explain why the Max 24's engine is from Mitsubishi while the rest of the tractor is "sub par" in my opinion.

From your link:
"Mitsubishi tractors have been lauded worldwide for its compact design, high utility value, long life, safety and durability. They are sold under the Mahindra Brand in North America, Australia and NZ and have a very strong presence in the sub-compact and compact tractor industry."

Mahindra or more correctly Mahindra Group is Indian multinational conglomerate with hands in many different industries so I was confused when you indicated Mitsubishi had acquired Mahindra.

Mitsubishi is the same type of company, it's in everything.
