Good Morning!!!! 43F @ 4:45AM. Abundant sunshine. High 66F. Winds NNW at 10 to 15 mph.
Sounds like a good day for you yesterday, Thomas!
You gonna tap all those holes now, Paul?
Can't blame your sister for giving up on California, Drew. I probably should have, too.
Yesterday's CT scan showed no leakage and for a while we had hopes my buddy would be discharged. But the irrregular heartbeat and high blood pressure nixed the chances. Probably also means they'll be on some sort of medication, at least for a while, after discharge, which almost certainly will happen today. Mid afternoon saw a move to a regular room, which was actually nicer than the one in the ICU, and also private. I'll be playing taxi driver today if all goes well.
Did a little more poking around in the hospital yesterday and just can't get over how big the place is. I found one hallway that seemed to be about 100 yards long. Lots of art and murals on the walls, litle nooks to sit down and rest, and bathrooms seemingly around every corner. Hand sanitizer stations also stocked with Kleenex and trash cans, too. Four huge atriums full of beautiful plants and even an artificial stream. It would be a great place to work if not for all the sick people.
Glad everyone seems to be coping with the weather, and hope you all enjoy the rest of your weekend.
