I must be incredibly cheap. I have a bottle, it’s actually a kitchen item, that hold about a pint of bar oil. I’ve got a two gallon can for gas and oil from Walmart that cost about $25 that I bought just a few weeks ago. Total investment is less than $30.
If you are frequently sawing and walking a distance, the Husquvarna bottle is really nice. Also holds tools, has shoulder strap, has auto shut off nozzles to prevent spills.

I’m not saying the Husqvarna bottle is worth $138, but it was worth the $48 I paid years ago.

I’m cheap too, but sometimes I splurge on a luxury convenience.

Cheap is my middle name jking, but I want stuff that is good for the price too.

Ya no way I would pay those stupid prices their trying on folks now days. I wouldnt even go half of that. SMH

But with what I got in my OEM husky new 38.75 I would.

Now this afm one for 41 will be here in couple more days from NJ warehouse. So see how it is made. Betting plastic no where near as thick as oem one.

But if that spout fits oem husky. Bingo. ;) Thats all I am really curious about. But bet threads are different being copied stihl can.

The good thing about these NATO Jerry cans is you only need to buy them once and your kids can inherit them after you no longer need fuel!

These are the safest, most practical and likely the lowest cost fuel cans in the long run.

I tried the dual fuel/oil cans long time ago and don't care for them at all.

Safest? No, not by a long shot.

Most practical: I'd agree with that. I like the olive drab one that is mounted on my antique truck enough that a bought a red one one for every day use. (Wavian brand)

Lowest cost in the long run - possibly. The real NATO cans (made by Wavian or Valpro) are expensive, but they are very well built. The knock offs that are becoming so prevalent much less expensive, but are generally junk: lighter gauge steel, poor welds and not as complete. Some seams are crimped rather than welded. A waste of time in my book.

Watch out for the fakes:

It's buyer beware - plenty of chinese copies of these, just like most everything!

I have one green 2.5 gallon Wavian & four ~15 year old red 5 gallon Wedco brand ones and their quality is very good.

Farmertec combi. Stihl clone one.

If you use them with funnel’s as much as I do all the time.
No playing Houdini balance act with funnels one handed like those early green spout husky and clone ones.

So close to my oem later husky one.

Was hoping caps were interchangeable but they are not.

Plastic is thick like oem too.

The tool boxes not made like the husky oem one to hold the tools tight or covered to hold in chains. But for price of just one of the husky oem spouts now days. It's nice.

Best price seen in long time. Now see what the total would be to shipped to a USA address from Aussie.

I tried wouldnt let me use a USA address for shipping estimate.

I wont ever pay those prices they are asking now.

OEM husky and afm I am good.
