And the engines that pull and transport all that coal weight use diesel driven generators powering Electric motors.
The final drive stage... Is EV already. :)
Clearly, envious. Else they wouldn't be posting all those pictures of coal trains of EV fuel.

But strangely coal is good enough to power their computers to post on TBN.
We still need coal. If we get enough molten salt reactors or fusion someday we can probably retire coal as a fuel although Natural gas has taken a big part of coals place as well already.

Till then we need every power type, and imo that includes coal, Nuclear, Petroleum. solar, wind , and hydro as well.
This was a thought I had too. A lot of people aren't finding this mode of transport, accessible.

Medtran(s) are all over the US now, affordable depends ?
Water is water, why are you so arguementive ( Trad traits contagious ;) ...our watercrossings early this week partridge hunting, were up to the doors on our pickup vehicles. No place for an EV for sure.... But admittedly we have more trucks per capita than most places....Oh and I like bacon too thanks. ;)

A----, that back bacon is Good- at least that is what Doug and Bob say.:) Tips how to use a snow shoe as a back bacon flipping spatula

Because of the "climate" argument for EVs made by world governments that use that as their reasoning for pumping trillions of dollars into subsidies.

Of course a person not motivated by "environmental" benefits, wouldnt see a problem using fossil fuels themselves. What is so hard to understand about that?
Who here is this "environmentalist" you speak of? Ain't none here, at least none here who post. So why do you think train loads of perfectly good EV fuel is somehow a brilliant contribution? You are speaking to an empty room. It's hilarious!

Just basing it on the Cyber Truck pulling a typical camper, which has already been done. That's what people refer to when they say their towing capability is poor, which is objectively true.
Citation please. You said 80 miles.

4000 pounds resulted in 160 miles in a Cybertruck, 235 miles in the Model X. And 11,000 pounds went 111 miles with a Cybertruck.

The picture was of a 1200 pound genset.

I wouldn't worry about rust proofing on either. Corrosion in the wiring for the battery feed on an EV would be my worry since isn't that the usual cause of an EV fire??? Corrosion causing a cascading effect in the battery
You don't seem to know "corrosion" is what we call copper or aluminum "rust". Rust is oxidation. Corrosion is oxidation.

Not sure what happened but solution was doable.
That guy is a dumbass and knows almost nothing about Tesla batteries.

The 12V battery was dead. The "Tesla" was not at 0%.

The jump start terminals on the original S are under the center front bumper insert. No need to open the frunk.

I didn't say here in this thread, did I?

Reading comprehension.

Test was on YT, surprised you didn't see it.

A 4000 pound trailer is like towing a lawnmower 😂. My mower/trailer alone is 3000 pounds
